a couple of questions:

these id's, do they double as work permits? if being stuck here is a potentially long term problem, i'd like to get a job closer to what i do back home.

for the people who lost abilities back home, have you seen anything about how those got taken? or anything about how to get them back? just curious.

and finally, has anyone else noticed we're being followed?

[Part of the focus of this post is to begin Operation: Help Stephen. Or whatever it's best called. Either way, Clarke's worried about him, as well as worried about their ability to help what has inevitably become a community they feel they can help. That's not just the Displaced, but the people of New Amsterdam. It's a lot.

She's also trying to be gentler in her own execution. It's hard, because the way she carries herself doesn't fully comply with that. But she also thinks of it as the next phase of the Do Better campaign.

That said, she is a little wary about how her bouncer-turned-security force idea will be taken. But the only way it can be improved is if she talks about it outside of the shadows. So. Here she goes.]

Hi everyone. I'm one of the two owners of Red Wings, and I'd like to offer you a place to work while you're getting settled in. It doesn't need to be permanent, but Red Wings was started as a place to help the Displaced become more financially independent before setting out into the world. We'd like to keep it that way.

First, I'd like to link the Starter Guide. If you've been here for a while, make sure to sign up at the bottom if you'd like to be a contact for anything.

Lance also put together a compendium of information. Don't go dig into that until you're ready. It's a lot.

As for Red Wings positions:

IN HOUSE: We're looking for another shift manager, as well as additional chefs and bartenders. After the Aerie, I'm also interested in hosting community events where we can rehabilitate our image. We don't need the fame that we had before the Aerie, but Stephen and I do intend to keep Red Wings as a community center. If you're interested in helping out with that, even on a contractor basis, let us know.

SECURITY/SECURITY FORCE: I've pitched this to a few people, but the Displaced need to watch out for themselves. Even before the Aerie and this recent Task Force, some of us brought heat down on ourselves and each other. That's going to happen, especially because a lot of us aren't happy with the makeup of this world.

So, I'd like our bouncers and security to work as eyes for our group. My aim isn't to control this group. We just need someone out there looking out for us. Lexa and Castiel have already started to devise exit points from the city if the worst case scenario comes to a head, but in the meantime, I thought that having some extra support here would help. Paying the people for their support is the next natural solution.

With everything that's happened, I've only been able to pitch this, like I said. How it's executed, how it goes about its business—that would be up to the people involved. We have a lot of people who have the skills necessary to pull this off. I'd just like to pay people to do what feels best for them.

Between the jobs and the guides, I'm willing to answer any questions you might have.

[OOC: As a reminder! If your character is employed by Red Wings in any capacity, make sure to sign up at our bar post in addition to the jobs post.]

i have been thinking

we ought to get ourselves to the northern continent of the americas

[[ooc: HI this is Thor putting out there the idea of getting to North America. This was first raised in an ooc discussion post, but it's good to get characters talking about the idea and figuring out how/if people who want to can help the effort.

Please use this network post for group discussion, I'm not planning to have Thor respond to everyone! Contribute your characters ideas for getting there and how etc. Just because Thor wants to take a boat doesn't mean it's the best idea! (see the plot engagement thread for the mods' thoughts on what might work best)

Basically, if we can get a few of the displaced to the shores of NA, another gate can be set up to allow everyone else to go if they want to explore and find stuff out.

Yay!!!!]]

The hospitals are severely understaffed at the moment. Anyone who can lend a hand, with or without medical training, meet me.

[ attached: location ping to a hospital. ]

My medical training was decades old even before I woke up in the future. More up to date knowledge would be good, but I can put people to work saving lives regardless.

@clarke.griffin
Hi everyone. This is @clarke.griffin and @lance.sweets. We wanted to give everyone an update, as well as give a rundown on some things moving forward.

First off, I know some of you just made it back from the Aerie, while others have been back for a while. For anyone who hasn't heard yet, the Aerie was a separate world where everyone was brought to it and given a new life, new memories, and new relationships. It wasn't an easy place to live, and some of us have only gotten a headstart in coping with what we went through. Still, not everyone's figured out the particulars, and a lot of us just got our loved ones back.

Perhaps most importantly, while we as a group tend to have weird things happen to us, this is the first time that the entire collective world has had a shared experience like this. Many of us came from situations where we were more prepared for this than most of the population of this world. Even if you're new, I'm willing to bet that this is the case.

Being in the Aerie changed us. I believe Lance can put this better than I can, but it's important to remember that you're far from alone in any of this. I'll let him delve deeper into this now.

@lance.sweets
‘Complicated’ is not even close to a strong enough word for the situation we’ve all found ourselves in, and there’s not really any sort of established framework for how exactly to deal with it. We’re all going to be figuring this out as we go along, but there are some key points to keep in mind.

The first is to remember that, for any similarities or differences there might've been, the people we were in the Aerie are not exactly the same as we were here before, or are now. Some patience and understanding with each other will go a long way in navigating what's happened. Additionally, the way in which each of us--including the native citizens--deals with this will be different, and so it will help if everyone can remember that and have no expectations for what others might do or how they may feel, or in what timeframe those occur. There’s no right or wrong way to come to terms with everything that happened, and that includes reconciling two entirely separate lives; some may treat who they were in the Aerie as another individual entirely, some may try to blend the two, and some may prefer the person they were in the Aerie.

But as Clarke said, none of us are alone in this, and that’s something that shouldn’t just be sentiment. As difficult as it can be, reach out to others if you need help; likewise, check in on each other whenever possible. It's very easy, in the midst of something of this scale, for individuals to get lost in the chaos if there isn’t a concerted effort to make sure that doesn’t happen. On that note, we also have people here who had arrived only days before the Aerie began and so had no time to establish any sort of support network, as well as new arrivals who can’t be forgotten about in all of this.

For those of you who have just arrived, hopefully you've found the network; although you'll be anonymous until your IDs are registered, you can still participate in discussions and read through older conversations, as well as access the new arrivals guide and the information compendium, the latter of which I believe is updated but I may have missed something. It'll give you something to do as a distraction from the current situation, at least. Additionally, if you have questions or need something brought to you, someone may be able to help with that.

[Lance probably more with the former than the latter, since he's not entirely sure if he can even get into the safehouse right now and doesn't care to test it.]

@clarke.griffin
If you're looking at the arrival guide and noticing that we need some updates, they'd be welcome right now. I usually handle it, but I'm not of a mind to be able to do so at this moment.
[Which will be apparent soon for a particular reason—but also, she was doing a lot in coming back from the Aerie. Clarke always has her hands full, but she also knows she has to make good on her "I delegate I don't do everything" word. See, Gene—she can commit to her nonsense.]

Finally, our group has a bar named Red Wings. Both @stephen.strange and I run the establishment, though it's going to fall mostly to me for the time being. If you would like a place to help you get started here, or even get familiarized with the world, Red Wings is a good place to get started. We offer jobs to all Displaced, and we're only staffed by Displaced, making it so that it's a place where you can settle in on your terms. [Unsurprisingly, she isn't mentioning any code of conduct or her firing someone rather publicly. No need to draw attention to it.] And if that doesn't appeal, we do give free meals (and sometimes drinks) to our own on a regular basis.

Right now, just as we've done before, Red Wings has been converted into a community center to provide outreach and resources to our community. If you come and help out, you'll still be considered an employee and paid wages for helping out.

As a note, I'll be in charge of operations for the time being. If you helped Stephen with any of his responsibilities, let me know. I could use some help.
[The point being to take the onus off of Stephen. This is how they manage things.]

We believe that covers everything. We know this is a lot to digest, so please feel free to ask any questions. Lance and I are here to help.

I don't have a horse in this race, but y'all expressed an interest in speaking with James Henries. On that account, Jason Todd stayed up on the moon to speak with him some and this is what he uncovered.

For organization's sake, I've arranged things according to topic. Forgive me, I ain't possessed of the soul of brevity.

oblig infodump cut - not done icly. )

And for anyone of a mind to pester Jason for more, I would advise you don't. He's stuck his neck out enough for the lot of us, y'all can leave him be.

If there's any mistakes, they're mine alone. Feel free to correct me any which way. Any additional information would be welcome as well. Better to coordinate than not.

17 December 2020 @ 03:56 pm
Alright kids, listen up. Here's what we're doing.

Plan A - Lance, you look into shipping artifacts to a volunteer displaced on the moon. Anxiety Potter has 2, Drake has 1, we need a fourth. Chime in if you got one. If it seems secure and viable, do it. The hipster and his girlfriend can draft up the Ikea instructions.

Plan B - If shipping isn't viable, Stark, you already volunteered for a shuttle party. Be on deck to pick up the goods and hop on board for the return trip. If you get punted off we go to plan C.

Plan C - Jimmy's willing to throw his Bezos money at us to charter a private trip once society's functional again. It's a safety net option, but it kind of depends on the human race not collectively freaking out after the whole Second Life fiasco. It also means everybody's gonna have to slow their roll for a few weeks. Boo hoo.

Plans D, E, and F are stupid. Everybody knows who we are, nobody's strolling through TSA after a threat level red. Nobody's stealing an entire freaking space ship without getting caught, don't ruin Hanukkah in July for the rest of us. We build our own rocket and we're gonna get the future air force scrambling F-15s in about six seconds.

If none of that works, we'll circle back to the dumb ones.

Everybody shut up and leave each other alone. Opinions are like assholes. Nobody cares and toilet paper doesn't exist anymore. If you're not here to volunteer or talk logistics, don't talk. Nobody's stopping you from planning your own birthday party mooncation. Hell, first one there wins a prize.

If you have feedback, put it in the suggestion box in my office. Schedule all appointments through my secretary. Please don't make Jimothy a thing. I'm too old to live like that.

EDIT: If you got a specific reason you wanna get to the moon or questions for Jimmy, head on over here. Run it by Jason. He'll see what he can do. Maybe save us a trip.

@lance.sweets
Hello everyone. We have some information we’ve been putting together, and with the recent reveal about Riverstone’s suspicions it seemed like it was important to bring it up as soon as possible.

@jack.miller
We’ve confirmed this information to the best of our ability by sharing memories with each other, and wouldn’t be sharing it with everyone if we weren’t pretty convinced we were onto something.

@lance.sweets
There are portions of this which we know for sure, but others are speculation and we’ll make everything as clear as possible.

[And that said--]

This started because I was looking into James Henries, since he’s a public figure and so a basic public search was an easy place to start. Unsurprisingly I didn’t come up with anything new from that, just the same information about the fact that he was a CEO of Giles Bell and that he died in 2303 at the age of 68, but that’s suspicious in itself; why was there so little information about the CEO of a massive corporation?

A scandal would probably be the simplest answer, and there happens to be a piece of interesting information that one of the Displaced received and which is contained in the message compilation. It mentions that, along with various other questionable choices, Henries was using Giles Bell’s resources to research cloning technology. @jyn.erso had mentioned to me that Johann Grey had clones, and so I wondered if there might be a connection there.

@jack.miller
There definitely has to be some kind of connection, as I can confirm that James Henries and Johann Grey look identical. Whether this means they’re actually the same person, I wouldn’t be so quick to assume, but they both seem to be making use of cloning technology in some way. When I interacted with Grey in-person, he implied that he met Cassius all the way back during the Xelkoven War. At the time I didn’t know what to make of it, especially given how he came across as so generally unhinged, but with all of these revelations I’m now wondering if he was being completely literal.

@lance.sweets
Cassius told @robert.plant that Johann was over 400 years old, which aligns with this information; the Xelkov war started in 2095 and it’s 2512 now, so if Johann is 400+ then he could have been around during the war. As far as Henries goes, the timing is a little strange; he was 68 in 2303, so born about 2235, and was CEO at some point in the middle of that. The main noteworthy thing that coincides with this timing is the banning of human cloning, and so Henries’ use of Giles Bell to that end makes sense; if he and Johann were running out of clones due to the ban, they would need a way to make more.

@jack.miller
My guess is that for one reason or another, both of them were making use of these duplicated bodies, and Grey was doing so in order to extend his lifespan. The nitty-gritty of how that’s even biologically possible I’m not as clear on, but I’m not sure how else he could have survived this long.

@lance.sweets
So in summary, what we know for sure is that James Henries and Johann Grey are physically identical, Johann is hundreds of years old and has clones, and Henries was briefly CEO of Giles Bell and used that position to work on cloning technology. Everything else is speculation, but it fits logically together.

Additional questions about this would be:
Does Riverstone know about this, considering their questions about Johann and their speculation of Henries’ involvement in our situation?
How did Henries become CEO? This was a job he supposedly got because of family.
How does cloning work in regard to maintaining some sort of individual personality? Is it possible to shift memories and experiences from one clone to another?

@jack.miller
Cloning isn’t something that exists back in my world, but if anyone has their own experiences from back home to contribute here, it might help fill in some of these blanks.

@lance.sweets
That goes for any other information from your time here, like things that might not have seemed important at the time, or which might fit together with--or even disprove--this. Whatever you know about any of this could be incredibly useful.

Back on my own world, I raised armies of men to follow me. I killed the ones who were too weak or who refused to obey a woman, and provided the rest with armor, weapons, and ample food and supplies from the villages we raided. In return, they helped me be seen the way I wanted to be seen. But none of that will work here.

[That's not as big an admission as it might sound; both the armies and the raiding had been nothing but a means to an end, something that was useful at the time but that could easily be left behind if circumstances changed.]

The powers here have given me the gift of literacy, and I've read your guide for the newcomers, even though it clearly wasn't written for someone like me. You take it for granted that everybody coming here will already know about things like buses and guns and galaxies.

But I have decided that there is nothing for me here, I will fight for the cause to return to where we came from. If this is your cause as well, we will be allies.

[A word to the wise: Callisto is not always kind even to her allies.]

But if we end up in a position to make demands, then I want to go back to the land of the living, not to Tartarus. My work there isn't done.

[ A solid number of the Displaced are in New Beijing and he's gone home the last couple of nights to an empty apartment, so while the network is usually his very least favourite place to be... ]

On behalf of Red Wings, a few housekeeping notes for those of you who are new here -

1. It's not the most private or comfortable lodging but you can stay with us for as long as you need.
2. If you need help or have questions and aren't sure where to go, pay us a visit. Clarke and I have both been around for over a year and between us, the other employees and Displaced clientele, if there are answers to be had you'll find somebody who can give them or at least point you in the right direction.
3. We're always hiring. Happy to take you on temporarily while you settle in or schedule you in long term, just get in touch.
4. The bar has a reputation for belonging to people like us and with that comes the curiosity of strangers. If you work with us, assumptions will be made about you. If you're staying with us and would rather not be the subject of attention, keep your glowing to a minimum.

And the main order of business - for everyone, a question:

Is there anything of yourself that was lost or changed in arriving here? An inherent ability you can no longer access, a power you've lost, old injuries now absent, an alteration in appearance or physiology beyond the standard trim. Anything you can think of. Similarly, anything you've retained that sets you apart.

If you're not comfortable sharing with the class, make it a private conversation. I'm looking for a more nuanced understanding of the current scope of ways in which arriving here has and hasn't changed us, to build a stronger foundation for creating and eliminating theories about how and why.

An example to start us off, I used to be a sorcerer. I'm human, magic was not common to my version of Earth, and my ability to use it was a learned skill that enabled me to harness energy from other dimensions and reshape it to cast spells. Theoretically, while I still have the skill it should be possible to utilize it anywhere, but I can't here. I have, however, retained all of my scarring and nerve damage from an old injury, suggesting at least that blending in isn't part of the consideration made when altering us.

Your turn.

[this is not nill’s bag of chips. she hasn’t addressed the network in... six months? right, not since heine left. so this is a much better thing to talk about than losing her best friend and also the only other person from her world. this is loads better. just asking people for stuff.]

@nill.klein
We need some new supplies for the new arrivals.
[good, solid start. she’s got this.] Any clothes or toiletries you can spare. Some of the things we have are getting run down, and we could use a better variety of sizes for clothing.

And any cloth that can be turned into sheets, too. If anyone knows how to sew, that would also be helpful. I know a little about sewing, but I’m not very good at it. Any sheets I make will probably be a little crooked.

[okay, the hard part is done.

Ren is here for support, so when Nill finishes her thoughts, he steps in to wrap it up.]

@ren.amamiya
It's rough showing up the way we do, so Nill and I thought we could make things better, rather than just limiting it to the basics. She did a good job outlining what we need, but we're willing to take suggestions if anyone has them. Ah--we also have another question.

@nill.klein
What are some things you wish you’d had when you arrived? Or what did you wish was in the safehouse? I don’t think we can do anything extravagant, but we can try to make it more welcoming when everything is up and running again.

26 September 2020 @ 07:05 pm
What do you guys do to have fun?

Other than drink and have sex, because I know you're all so very original.

I ask because for the longest time I didn't really have a say on what I could do with my idle time (which was like, every living moment of my life) so now that I have all the time, ever, I'm going a bit insane.

Also, don't say bartending or washing dishes, I got those too.

26 September 2020 @ 03:09 pm
What's the deal with your surname? If you have one. We don't have them, where I'm from. I'm not stupid, for what it's worth-- I don't need the concept explained to me. I know they're just... family names, or whatever.

I just wanna know... what does yours mean, I guess. If it has a meaning. Where did it come from. If you don't have one, how did you... I don't know, choose yours, when you got here?

Anyway I guess I was gone for a bit, now I'm back, don't make a big deal about it.

23 September 2020 @ 04:24 pm
I've finished the initial version of a sourced collection of information regarding what we know about this world.

Although the welcome guide offers a good overview of basic information (and goes in depth into some areas) as well as a general timeline of events, and therefore is on an appropriate scale so as not to overwhelm new arrivals, it's difficult to then include all the little details that have been learned over time. That's the point of this project: to collect as much information as possible, even if it seems very minor, in order to better understand the entire situation. The more pieces we have, the more we can try to draw connections and put together what we're dealing with and how to proceed.

That said, I'm sure I've missed something, misconstrued information, or otherwise made mistakes. So if you see something that's wrong, or know of something that's been left out, please let me know.

Also, thanks to @ nathan.drake for his help and additional information.

Since the vast majority of you aren't used to being worshiped- you know, being erected shrines, answering prayers etc. etc.- I'd like to pose a philosophical quandary.

To those of you consider yourselves human: Are you still human? Or has time here, our arrival here, made us something else?

To those of us that aren't human, I'd like your thoughts as well. I'm in that bucket of course, and my perspective may not entirely align to the mortal crowd.
True or not, it's something to think about in the way that we conduct ourselves.

Evening, all.

Anyone fancy a trip to New Casablanca? Reckon there are plenty of us who could use something in the vein of a vacation given all we've managed lately. I know I ain't alone in knowing a few folk who could stand to relax some.

( he's not naming names, but. these people Know Who They Are. )

Just a day or two, probably heading out Friday and back Monday evening so's those of us working don't miss too many shifts. We'd be going by gate, so it wouldn't be too much out of our way time-wise.

@ gaby, may I have a moment of your time?

13 September 2020 @ 01:46 pm
Hi everyone. I know we just got newcomers, so I apologize if any of this seems new to you. I recently updated our Arrival Guide, so take a look at that. If you have any questions, I'm sure one of us can help you out.

Before we get started, I'm Clarke Griffin and my partner in this is Stephen Strange. We've been running the Displaced-owned bar, Red Wings, since February. We're two members of the small handful of Displaced who have been here since the very beginning.

I've mentioned this in a few places, but Stephen and I are working on a proposal for our group. It's one that we hope that works for everyone, and it also doesn't expect anyone to adhere to any codes or guidelines. I don't think we can set up rules, bylaws, or committees for our group when we have turnover like we do. It would be unfair to anyone coming in. I've stood by this position from the very beginning, and I do think it helps us.

As for our proposal, there are a few parts, so bear with us.

What do we tell the world about us?
The general consensus is "very little," but we're unique and we stand together more times than not. It helps that we have a private means of communication. Even if we might not have a single mindset or goal, we are a unique group.

So, what are we going to say? Stephen and I want to tell the world that … as far as we know, we may have gotten our powers from some kind of gift from "god," as that's the only explanation we've gotten so far. Our ties to the gates will help us explain that, though we don't need to go into detail there. We also don't need to believe in these being gods, so much as that being what we've heard from the people who build the shrines.

When we talked about putting this proposal together, Stephen pointed out that while it's better that we don't say we're not of this world, it's important that we don't say we are from it, either. I'm sorry if that's confusing, but we don't want to get caught in a lie. Nobody's going to assume we're from another world, so it's better if we don't mention it at all. Anyone who might have proof one way or another would need to expose themselves to us. Down the line, leaving that open-ended may prove useful in knowing why we're here and how to get off this world.

We do intend to announce ourselves publicly soon as two people from our group, but we wanted to let everyone know about it first. If you're new, let me make it clear: people know about us. They know we glow. They know we run Red Wings. This is more of a formality than anything. It's a matter of taking control of the narrative. If you're employed with us at Red Wings, I understand if you want out. We can do our best to help you find other employment.

Red Wings as a Base
Moving forward, Stephen and I want to help the community with Red Wings. We've gotten the place mostly back in working order, but there are a few more concerns about the safehouse and the tunnels built in that I'll cover below.

As a base, we want:

  • To help grow a sense of community outside of times of crisis, encouraging connections between local people in the city.
  • To provide food and shelter to people in need, especially during crises
  • To work with PRESERVE to have a spot for people to rest up during these crises, as well as provide medical care if hospital workers are overworked.
  • Offer people a place to stay temporarily, especially if they're helping with the above causes.

  • We'll expand from there. The goal is to continue what we started during our recent monster crisis.

    Protecting Ourselves
    One major concern that @adora.weaver brought up during that crisis is that we're not learning self defense or preparing for a situation that is, quite honestly, only getting worse here. While we will not be instituting obligatory self defense, we've spoken to El about setting up the abandoned hoverbike garage as a training range. This will include any and all soundproofing that would be necessary, as well as other facilities on site. We feel that it's a good space for it.

    As for weapons and combat training, we'd leave that up to anyone who wants to do it within that space. I know that having a space for it has been hard, so having one dedicated to it moving forward will help. If you're interested in helping with construction on this project, let us know.

    The big thing is that Adora was concerned that we aren't approaching our situation with the seriousness that it needs. I've updated the guide to better reflect where we stand.

    In addition:

    One of the concerns with "outing" ourselves is how we'd be able to protect ourselves if people turned on us. I see the tunnels under the city as a means of working this to our advantage. However, we need a way to conceal these from the common people. If we can't, we'll need to abandon this plan, but does anyone have any ideas?

    Protecting the Citizens
    Stephen procured a warehouse that we believe will help us provide similar training to New Amsterdam citizens. We believe that we can look for local sponsorship for this activity. Weapons training will need to be off the table because of the legality of it, but any other training will be allowed.

    My hope is that we can have Red Wings security help train the people of this city in how to fight. In time, we'd like to be able to make a secondary Displaced business out of this service, one that can outlast Stephen and I. We'd also be happy to let someone take this off our hands, but we'd likely help oversee getting it up and running, as well as procure sponsors.

    I saw that someone wants to help release information that we learn, as well. I don't know how we can do this or how we can get it setup, but if you have an idea, I'm all ears. I'm still hesitant to assume that everything we experience is relevant to the world as a whole, so we may need to come to some decision on that.

    Welcoming Newcomers
    I'm happy to keep up the Arrival Guide for as long as I'm here, especially since its original creator was my friend. But we do want to look at putting together a group that handles helping newcomers get situated, especially one that can be handed off between Displaced when turnover happens in our group. Does anyone have any proposals for how to manage this?

    The Arrival Guide has a short listing of people with skills that may be immediately needed during a crisis. Feel free to add yourself there if you think you can do some good. It's been out of date for a while.

    However, we've been throwing around the idea of an official database for skills and powers, but it's not something that any of you would need to be obligated to be a part of. I'm wondering if anyone would like to take this up. Personally, I'm happy to list my skill set, but when it comes to powers, I won't be included. Just to give people an idea of where this stands.

    Final Thoughts
    Obviously, this isn't something that we can do ourselves, but we think this speaks to a lot of the concerns that people have had. Our hope is that we can hand most of these projects off to people.

    If you have any ideas for changes, we welcome them. But we'd like to start moving forward on them as soon as we can.

    Thanks for reading, and we look forward to what you have to add.

    [ooc: Clarke and Stephen have been crowdsourcing and listening to What to Do for a while, so this is a proposal they came up with together! It's the result of months of IC discussion among the Displaced and between one another, especially after the last two events really putting the Displaced to the forefront of public attention. Both Stephen and Clarke are open to listening, but also want to move forward after a lot of discussion. However, we don't have the ability to run ahead with most of these projects ourselves (and have little interest in doing so because it's A Lot), so we were hoping something like this could be delegated via a post like this, with revisions made by characters along the way. The only thing they'll definitely be spearheading is anything to do with the Red Wings HQ (as in the bar itself), as well as using their Displaced-gained fame to get sponsorship for the self-defense center Both Stephen and Clarke are willing to delegate and put people in contact with one another as needed, so just let us know.

    We'll also be submitting a plot engagement with the information about "coming out" once the discussion around this post ends. We'll mostly be focusing on that + the HQ, and we're happy to provide starting details for the other projects (since some have been run by the mods already) to get you moving in that direction.

    Thanks!!]

    What do we have on the local monster population? I'm looking for all the intel we can pull together.

    -major incidents
    -strengths/weaknesses
    -what are their traits, their patterns, what do they eat, what's their habitat like
    -the lore, the history we know about them
    -key players
    -any leads we might have
    -any ties to the displaced, coincidental or otherwise

    I know about our buddy Johann, I'm gonna try and make friendly with DJ Roomba at the bar for more deets, but I wanna know what else we might have already on record.

    If there's already some kind of, I don't know, wikipedia entry on this, I couldn't seem to future-google it up.

    sidenote, keep Morning Star: Civil War to the fifteen places it's already going down, we're sticking to business here.
