[He was so not planning to make a post any time soon, but this is all a mess so whatever.]First off, to the people who have newly arrived, hello. Waking up in another world isn't exactly the easiest thing to deal with, and you've arrived at an even more tumultuous time than usual, but I have some resources for you that might help a little; you might've already found them, but here are the welcome guide and the information compendium.
I need to update the latter with everything that just went down, but the short version is that everyone on Earth was--or still is--in another world, or reality, or something. They're only returning upon death, which may help explain why everyone seems particularly difficult, if you've been reading the network. If you have questions about it all I can try to help, but I was one of the earliest to return so I'm missing some pieces.[Just don't ask him about anything other than the general situation, he doesn't know any of the cool secret lore. Got murdered too fast and all that. But shifting subjects--]You may have also noticed some of the discussions about the moon, and how those on Earth could get back and forth; one of those potential methods, which would be long term, would involve one of you who just arrived doing those of us stuck on Earth a favor. If you're interested, please let me know.[And lastly, but also very importantly--]As for Displaced who are returning from the Aerie, I think Red Wings is being set up as a meeting place as usual, though be careful traveling through the city. Most importantly, though, try to check in on each other, and try to be patient with each other. We've all just been through a lot, and just because we're easy, safe targets for each other to take out our emotions on, that doesn't make it right and it doesn't actually help anyone. We're all in it together, and we can get through it.

so everyone knows shit sucks right now
since i've been here i've seen a lot of talk about what we should do, but it seems like everyone has a different idea
some people want to start superhero teams and some people want to require training for everyone new who shows up
some of us want to go public, some don't, some people trust morningstar and some people think they're shady
some people are just saying "fuck it" and think we should worry about ourselves
you know, all that shit
so i guess i just wanted to crowdsource
get everyone's thoughts in one place or whatever
because it seems like fucked up shit keeps happening and since i got here, it's getting worse
this is probably going to start a whole argument about how much responsibility we even have when we've just been dragged here without a choice
or people saying no one should expect us to act as a group but

Hi. I have some information that I think we should all know about. It's not pertaining to us getting taken. Not exactly. Or anything that's been going on. It's about our lives here, and what's happened to us.
First, I want everyone to know that there's nothing in your chests. I mean, there is, but it's not a physical item. Which ... makes sense. We don't have any scars there, at least not ones that may have been added since we showed up. The ones on the back of our heads? Still there. So, I don't think that's a coincidence. I don't know who found this out for us, or why they decided to go into digging into themselves on their own, but since you're presumably still out there: look up X-rays and MRIs. I'm not saying Morningstar has access to these things. Maybe they don't. But it's worth asking.
Second, and know that this is coming from a ... unique place: trust the hospitals here. They aren't out to get you. I work at one every day. I'm in their database, both as an employee and someone with access to medical records. For those of us with unique physiology, this doesn't apply, but from what I can tell, we're far from the majority. Now that we know for sure nothing is kicking around in our chests, we can safely go.
Where I came from before, it was hard. We didn't have any of the things available to us. If three people needed X-rays, we'd try to figure out who needed them most just in case. And that's before I left where I grew up—a space station, for those of you who are curious—and went down to the ground to help reestablish ourselves there. [This is the prettiest way to put the horrible thing that happened to a hundred expendable kids. She is not going to tell anyone that. The rest of this little anecdote is meant to guilt people enough. That is her goal, and she doesn't really care if it's a transparent one.] Here, it's all available, and it's free. I'm not going to tell anyone to stop helping people, even if it gets you hurt. I am pleading with you to be smarter about it.
Health care here is free. All of it. Whether you have poor vision or you had an accident back home and you lost a limb, it's all free. You don't have to go through with any of it, but I feel that it's partly my responsibility to make all of this known to you.

Hi everyone,It's time again for the irregularly scheduled update on the shadowy conspiracies surrounding our spacetime displacement.
If you don't already know me, I'm Leo Fitz, one of the arrivals from the first transport. Prior to being here, I was an engineering and technology operative at SHIELD, an American extra-governmental military counter-terrorism and intelligence agency. Myself and several others have been investigating the circumstances of the fire and the nurse's death, with the generous aid of Gaby, El, and Morningstar's contacts. Debris samples from the apartment site collected by Kylo (@kylo.ren) and I contained the expected signs of fire damage as well as a significant oddity: Residue left by an organic material. While the residue was too insubstantial and damaged for a full chemical analysis, it showed matching markers to the samples of the smaller creatures of unknown origin (designated 084s), previously tested by Kylo through Morningstar.
At great personal risk, Katelin (@katelin.philips) and Marcos (@marcos.diaz) also questioned the morgue attendants. In doing so, we learned the following information: 1. Our nurse suffered blunt force head trauma, noted as his cause of death prior to the fire reaching his body. Such an injury occurs most often by accident, as in the case of a car crash, or when an object is used to bludgeon the skull, as in the event of a homicide.
2. I'm inclined to classify this cause of death as suspicious, and it seems the local authorities agree, with a group of individuals in possession of NAFD Forensics identification having carted off the corpse before we arrived. Additionally, records of the nurse's collection and autopsy have been scrubbed, much to our morgue attendants' surprise and alarm.
Further investigation shows that all of the nurse's data has been wiped, as if he never existed in the first place. Maybe this only confirms our suspicions of foul play and establishes a concrete link between the fire and the creatures. To me, it guarantees that we are dealing with an organization capable of using, coercing, and erasing individuals, even those who have proven useful to them in the past. Everything we do in pursuit of answers is a risk, so please be careful as we work together to solve this.

Gaby wants it made clear that the guns are for missions only. If we get caught with them, they won't be able to get us out of that easily.[ or at all, but bellamy doesn't think it's beneficial to be that blunt. ]

I know a lot of people are still recovering from what happened to them, but we have a responsibility to help the ones who are still sick. The news reports say that they've been taken into medical care. I think we need to do what we can to help them. I'm not sure how.
If I was at home, one of my teammates would have an answer.[Well, Pidge. Pidge would have an answer.]She'd find a way to harness whatever this freaky blue stuff is inside of us so that we could help someone else. Make a vaccination. Something. Do you guys think we can pull that off? Or do you guys have any ideas for how we can help? We can work together and get those people cured. Some of you weren't yourself the last few days. I wasn't, either. Imagine being stuck that way.
There's one other thing.
A lot of people want to get home. A lot of us need to get home. We left something important behind. But if we're a part of what's happening here, there's a chance we'll be leaving this world in worse shape than we found it. We need to do what we can to help.
I guess I should also apologize. That wasn't me. But the people I talked to didn't know that. I'm sorry.

2: the "underground crimelords". anyone got names? physical descriptions? rumors? weird bits of tmi no one ever wanted to hear?
3. four shadiest bars/"gathering locations". you know exactly what i mean
4. narcotics. heard a lot of whispers about high death rates. anyone tested substances for an idea of what's in them? what bits of brain they effect? what's causing those deaths, or is it the standard respiratory issues?
