I know a lot of people are still recovering from what happened to them, but we have a responsibility to help the ones who are still sick. The news reports say that they've been taken into medical care. I think we need to do what we can to help them. I'm not sure how.

If I was at home, one of my teammates would have an answer.

She'd find a way to harness whatever this freaky blue stuff is inside of us so that we could help someone else. Make a vaccination. Something. Do you guys think we can pull that off? Or do you guys have any ideas for how we can help? We can work together and get those people cured. Some of you weren't yourself the last few days. I wasn't, either. Imagine being stuck that way.

There's one other thing.

A lot of people want to get home. A lot of us need to get home. We left something important behind. But if we're a part of what's happening here, there's a chance we'll be leaving this world in worse shape than we found it. We need to do what we can to help.

I guess I should also apologize. That wasn't me. But the people I talked to didn't know that. I'm sorry.

idk about making a vaccine, but I'm already at one of the hospitals if we need eyes around here. I can see about maybe getting to a few people if they're being kept close.

We'll need to find out if they're there. Get in as visitors. Do any of us care if we're caught on surveillance?

You're right about needing to be careful. But right now, we aren't causing any of this. I don't think, anyway. But something is. And even if we can't stop that, we need to see if we can make things better. I'm just not sure how.

Guess that's the benefit of disguises, but I've got a solid alibi. I'm here as a patient so I can say I took a wrong turn bc of the pain killers or something lmao.

Seems like people are already taking steps to figure out what's up. That's a good start. And this. If we don't know enough to make big moves we'll make the small obvious ones right?

Disguises won't help. We were only anonymous once. Before any of the more recent people showed up.

The small obvious ones are working together to help people. We need to be better about that. I'm not good at figuring stuff out. But I can lead task forces where it's necessary.

It's not about stopping it from spreading. I don't think it was "spreading" in the first place. No one got sick after I bothered them.

Yeah, just bear with me. I'm sort of thinking out loud on this thing.
I've seen the videos of people making contact with others who got sick. The touching is what does it, but contact takes too long and I don't think any of us want more attention than necessary.
But we might be able to get in and out if we could make it stronger somehow.

But how? How do we make something stronger when we don't know what it is in the first place?

I doubt the hospital will allow any of us to visit the afflicted if we don't know who they are.

If we could access the intake of the local facilities we could organize teams to go in covertly.

we don't even really know what these things in our chests are, right?
but if you want to figure out what's going on with those people who are hospitalized, i'm on board

You're right. If we knew more, it would be easier to approach that.

I'd like to figure it out. And not just figure it out—help them. If it means splitting up and coming up with a solid plan on how to help everyone, that's what we'll have to do.

I can't say I have any ideas...but I want to help when and if you do come up with something. Even with the pain, it was worth it to help those who were sick...and I want to do what I can.

I'm thinking of two separate teams. We'll need some more people to volunteer, and ... then we'd have to figure it out from there.

I'm guessing it's not just a matter of sneaking into the hospital to treat them, huh?

[She's still adjusting to thinking in ways of tech and surveillance around here. Where she's from breaking into a building and healing a bunch of people would be a challenge, but not overly difficult. Here it certainly seems like it would be.]

This may sound crazy, but I don't think getting into a hospital will be hard for any of us. We're pretty prone to recklessness. So, if we need to devise a reason because we can't find the people, we'll make it work later.

There’s that. It’s easy enough to step away from the conversation for five minutes.

But if you’re trying to lead, you have to gain trust first. You can’t wring that out of people; time and cooperation will, eventually.
