What do you guys do to have fun?

Other than drink and have sex, because I know you're all so very original.

I ask because for the longest time I didn't really have a say on what I could do with my idle time (which was like, every living moment of my life) so now that I have all the time, ever, I'm going a bit insane.

Also, don't say bartending or washing dishes, I got those too.

i used to go scuba diving pretty often before i came here but that's apparently not a hobby people do often in the 26th century

I mean, if you're into doing physical things, climbing and hiking sure. Aren't they the same though?

Also that would be their loss? Unless there's something big, bad and hungry where you go diving, then yeah, don't.

people, places. all kinds of things? there hasn't exactly been a shortage of subjects. i used to keep travel journals back home.

climbing is vertical, hiking is horizontal.

that or the water is super polluted. i've done salvage diving in some pretty nasty locations before, visibility is for crap.

I thought you were doing diving in like, crystalline waters. Murky diving doesn't sound too fun.

I don't really have much experience in either zone, so I can't tell, to be honest.

I try to travel as much as I can. Otherwise, there's usually some festival or celebration going on somewhere in the city. Most of them are worth an afternoon.

Plenty of places inside the city, even more if you use the gates.

Do you like art, or museums?

I havent' done much exploring yet. Don't want to step into a gate and end somewhere dangerous.

Maybe? I don't have much life experience, so to speak.

Well, if sex is out of the question...
I write poetry.
I like to collect things. Seashells or sea glass in particular appeal to me.
I research things that interest me.
And occasionally, test my pain threshold.

I wasn't an octopus, no, but I do now have some of the traits of one.

There are plenty of VR parlours and arcades in the city.
An easier and cheaper option if you're unsure of what you'd enjoy.
