@cecily.trevelyan
First day out into this fascinating new world of yours.
If anyone is so inclined, I would love a little tour. Some of your favorite spots, any areas of interest, the standard. Perhaps some off-line information sharing.
I would, of course, owe that person a favor. The pleasure of company is an added bonus.
Thank you in advance.

Is there any chance you are available for the tour?

I see he never warned you about my glib commentary on strolls.

I think that your commentary is what I would most look forward to on a stroll.

I wouldn't be much help outside of going down to the fighting ring, I don't get out much, but I'd be happy to show you where we all cheerfully bludgeon each other for money.
no subject
I would be enchanted to see it. I won't promise my participation one way or the other, but if it's a well-traveled area, then I think it would be worth the visit.

You've certainly been busy, for having recently arrived. I feel as though I've been entirely unproductive.

ah, mostly i was looking for a job, a place to eat and a place to hangout. this place is too big, it will take us forever to get familiar with everything
no subject
That's fair enough. And if you're going to look out for anything, those three are sort of the core of what you should find. Did you happen to track down one of the better places to eat, then?
no subject
that would be the bar! i'm still trying to get acquainted with the places. i come from a tiny island, so this place is the definition of "too much" for me.

@cassian.andor
There is a lot to do here, depending on your area of interest.

My areas of interest primarily include finding a way back home, and barring that... Aspects of planning and diplomacy, archery, and fine wine, to start.

Weaponry in general is a lot harder to come by, as they do not seem to trust the regular people with arms. But there are fighting rings, if that is also your sort of thing.
no subject
[ That's not...at all true, but hopefully the sarcasm comes through even over text. ]
It isn't, but if that's the only way we can defend ourselves and fight, then I suppose I should learn.
They really do believe in restrictions, don't they? Almost as if we're prisoners or something like that.

[ he caught it, he is very good at reading between lines. ]
It is not the only way. Do you already have any combat experience? Knives and smaller short range weapons are easy to hide, and @daisy.johnson has a power that enables her to create us weapons.
I find the overall government structure much more dystopian than it appears, yes.

(Can I call you that?)
I have a wildly detailed food truck map if you want to go on a foodventure
no subject
(You may.)
I'm not sure I've ever delved into the worlds of "food trucks" or "foodventures," but both are clearly to do with food, and so - absolutely. When?

How do I feel about peering out across an expanse of water?
Or how would I feel about a luxurious villa on the shore?
In any case, I imagine the answer is "I feel good about waterfronts."
no subject
It's my favorite spot in the city. I like to keep it simple.
no subject
Would you show it to me?
