[ so, there's a lot going on lately, isn't there? after having been gone for a little while, marcos has been trying to catch up with everything that's gone on while he'd been away. it seems that the cassius thing is the big news and he has opinions on that but he's also got some other business to attend to. ]

so, i'm back. most people won't have noticed but if you did, i was gone for a little while, went home, got shot, came back, i'm fine.

[ long story short and all. ]

i know there's a lot going on and i'd hate to give people one more thing to think of but i'm gonna do it anyway. this is more an interest check than anything.

[ can't really move on anything now but with cassius looming like he is, it might be needed in the future. ]

there's a lot of people here that need help. and i want to help them. they've lost homes and needs safe places to stay, resources, that sort of thing. specifics will come later but i'm just trying to gauge if there's anyone out there that might want to do the same.

[ they couldn't all be soldiers and fighters and warriors, right? or maybe they could and marcos would go at it alone. that was fine too. he'd do it no matter what. ]

obviously, this could all be affected by whatever happens with these favors but i'm hoping cassius doesn't murder more people and call it 'necessary.' i'm not taking a favor, before anyone asks, but i can't fault anyone who does.

@ gaby, i'm back, by the way. i assume you might have noticed i was gone but i came back. seems like i did that to a few people. said something or promised something important and then disappeared. sorry.

thanks. didn't really plan for that but i guess it's the expect the unexpected thing here. i'm glad i managed to come back.

It's good you want to be back. We had someone who treated every exit and return like we were meant to treat it with special observance.

anyway, the bullet wound's fine. someone helped me out and it's stitched up.

I may be able to set something up through my job, at least when it comes to assessing and repairing damages - we can fix up some of these safe places. My boss has a preference for helping those that need it, I doubt she will be hard to convince if outside work is needed.

But I myself can help on that level, even without outside involvement.

but i'd really like your help too. you've helped me in the past so i know you're good at it.

There is a lot about this city that needs help. The more people that get involved, the better.

Just keep me updated. I can give a heads up in the meantime, see what the immediate reaction is, though I doubt it will be negative.
