[ so, there's a lot going on lately, isn't there? after having been gone for a little while, marcos has been trying to catch up with everything that's gone on while he'd been away. it seems that the cassius thing is the big news and he has opinions on that but he's also got some other business to attend to. ]

so, i'm back. most people won't have noticed but if you did, i was gone for a little while, went home, got shot, came back, i'm fine.

[ long story short and all. ]

i know there's a lot going on and i'd hate to give people one more thing to think of but i'm gonna do it anyway. this is more an interest check than anything.

[ can't really move on anything now but with cassius looming like he is, it might be needed in the future. ]

there's a lot of people here that need help. and i want to help them. they've lost homes and needs safe places to stay, resources, that sort of thing. specifics will come later but i'm just trying to gauge if there's anyone out there that might want to do the same.

[ they couldn't all be soldiers and fighters and warriors, right? or maybe they could and marcos would go at it alone. that was fine too. he'd do it no matter what. ]

obviously, this could all be affected by whatever happens with these favors but i'm hoping cassius doesn't murder more people and call it 'necessary.' i'm not taking a favor, before anyone asks, but i can't fault anyone who does.

@ gaby, i'm back, by the way. i assume you might have noticed i was gone but i came back. seems like i did that to a few people. said something or promised something important and then disappeared. sorry.

Jyn and I are going as well. I like to take the opportunity to visit other cities when they arise.

But this project of yours is ongoing, so we can continue to work on it, assuming Judas doesn't escape and blow everything up.

yeah, that's what concerns me. if judas escapes and reunites with cassius, i worry what happens next.

i already know what cassius can do. doubling that just makes me nauseous.

The problem is our only real sources for Judas are Cassius and El. There is no telling what Judas will do, especially if he has been locked away for long.

I do not have an issue with AI as a concept, but Cassius has already shown himself to still be destructive.

i've never really dealt with ais before this and while i can deal with el, what cassius did makes me sick still.

i don't want that to happen again. and i don't want any of our people to get caught up in it. i'm worried but i can't really do anything on my own against an ai.

Nor have I, not to this level. We have droids and advanced operating systems, but nothing like these AI.

That is my concern as well. I want to be able to help this planet, not be responsible for making it worse.

and cassius already made it worse once. what's he gonna do if he doesn't get his way this time?

it just feels like lose lose no matter what.

If only more people felt that way.

but they don't so we're just left preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. or trying to hope for the best, i guess. it's not easy.

That is starting to be a tedious routine here.

Not unless we somehow get all of the pieces at once. Unfortunately that's always a slow process.

No. Where they are is probably just as valuable a question.

something tells me there's more than just judas. more ais even. which makes me feel great.

They did have a whole war surrounding AIs. I wish we could find more sources about that, their numbers included.

Anyone ever asked the AIs themselves? I had one conversation with Cassius and never again.

They are one source, one that we cannot always take at face value either, especially Cassius. It would be good to have backup even if someone did speak to them.

Once again, we hit the what sort of backup can we have to an AI question.

Everything in this world is far more interconnected than I like, especially when it comes to the network we and the AI are all tied to.

There have to be real records somewhere, but I can imagine they are buried quite deep.

i wouldn't be surprised if they're buried so deep that no one still living knows where they are.

except the ai's. since they can seemingly access anything. i hate that.

And buried so on purpose.

If we cannot get around AIs, the smart idea would be to build an alliance. Better to have them on our side than against us.

Yeah, it'd be one way to go about even though I'd still be worried about them screwing us over if we didn't do what they want. They have the power and they know it.

Maybe we need to find something we can hold over them.

Easier said than done, I know.

Yeah, if you find something, let me know. It's not a bad idea but I just think if there's something out there, they've probably wiped it.
