Since the vast majority of you aren't used to being worshiped- you know, being erected shrines, answering prayers etc. etc.- I'd like to pose a philosophical quandary.
To those of you consider yourselves human: Are you still human? Or has time here, our arrival here, made us something else?
To those of us that aren't human, I'd like your thoughts as well. I'm in that bucket of course, and my perspective may not entirely align to the mortal crowd.
True or not, it's something to think about in the way that we conduct ourselves.

We also glow, but they seemed more aware of what that meant to them than we knew what it meant to us.
Or that we still know what it means to us.

god-touched or whatever they're calling us
why does that make us not human?
what's the criteria?

At what point is whatever inside of us causing us to change? Those with discomfort will argue for their humanity, but it may mean more than just that.
What would cause you to call yourself something different?

i don't know
i guess it's just hard for me to wrap my head around
there aren't any gods where i'm from
it would be like someone telling you you're secretly twilight sparkle or something

Just that you're not what you were before. To evaluate our impact on this world, we have to take a step forward in acceptance of our relationship with it.

yeah, i guess so
but i don't think that makes us not human, or you not a god
just because i had magic back home didn't make me not human
like, where's the line? what's the criteria for not being human anymore, you know?

Though I believe that what we are is not exactly "human" to this world. That's enough for a chance in perspective.
no subject
but what kind of change in perspective do you mean? expecting the people here to view us differently?
no subject
Coupled with how we should view ourselves and our impact on this world.

i don't know
besides the cult it seems like the consensus is
what?
fun curiosity or city heroes? or troublemakers, maybe

That candidate that ran for governor certainly saw something more.
