Since the vast majority of you aren't used to being worshiped- you know, being erected shrines, answering prayers etc. etc.- I'd like to pose a philosophical quandary.

To those of you consider yourselves human: Are you still human? Or has time here, our arrival here, made us something else?

To those of us that aren't human, I'd like your thoughts as well. I'm in that bucket of course, and my perspective may not entirely align to the mortal crowd.
True or not, it's something to think about in the way that we conduct ourselves.

Considering there are several worlds in which humans have some sort of magic or supernatural abilities, I don't think arriving here would be enough reason to consider oneself something other than human if that's what they were originally.

As far as being worshiped goes, this isn't just exclusive to gods or people believed to be gods. It's classic stalker behavior as well, though usually on a smaller scale.

I don't see why they wouldn't.

Just because I learned to throw lightning at people in the last place I was doesn't mean I suddenly changed species, it was just a new skill. Same goes for other people who learned magic or other abilities that they wouldn't normally have otherwise.

Stalkers and cults do operate somewhat differently due to the organization and structure inherent to the latter, but many of the basics are similar.

You believe in your own definition of what that means, rather than consider the possibility of what those who are worshiping us do?
Given, not everyone who has supernatural abilities is human, those who are human can have supernatural abilities, and sometimes those who gain supernatural abilities are no longer what they are. They become something else.

Given the whole mix up with "conducting ourselves," you should have outright said that whatever's been put inside of us could have changed our standard identity to make us into something we're not. It might have helped make things easier.

You didn't ask what the people worshiping us might define as human. You asked us. There can be--and likely is--a disconnect there, which makes the situation more delicate.

Right now, no. I have no reason to believe we should consider ourselves to be gods, touched by gods, or anything of that nature unless that already applied beforehand.

That you'd consider yourself human until you had solid proof otherwise, is what I'm taking from that.
Though as a god myself, I've run up against those who believe and disbelieve me to be so, yet it doesn't make me any less divine. Even without my own abilities, am I still a god? Yes, of course I am.

I don't usually change my opinion without some sort of reason, so yes. If there's some sort of evidence otherwise that comes up, I'll reconsider.
