@kyna.medina
so everyone knows shit sucks right now
since i've been here i've seen a lot of talk about what we should do, but it seems like everyone has a different idea
some people want to start superhero teams and some people want to require training for everyone new who shows up
some of us want to go public, some don't, some people trust morningstar and some people think they're shady
some people are just saying "fuck it" and think we should worry about ourselves
you know, all that shit
so i guess i just wanted to crowdsource
get everyone's thoughts in one place or whatever
because it seems like fucked up shit keeps happening and since i got here, it's getting worse
this is probably going to start a whole argument about how much responsibility we even have when we've just been dragged here without a choice
or people saying no one should expect us to act as a group but
idk
here's your chance to be all opinionated

[ ahaha he's laughing at himself already over that last one. ]

@castiel.winchester
[ somewhere in casa winchester, while dean's being disgusted, cas is letting out one of those low, dumb sounding chuckles of the angel got the joke, guys. it's almost as good 7 ate 9. ]
Thank you for sharing those details. Forgive the ignorance, I'm still fairly new to this world.

It's no problem. I've been here a while.

[ please, let him tell a joke, he's so excited to share a joke ]
You're one of the Displaced agents working with Morningstar as well, right? What convinced you to join their ranks?

[ the best part is she is being serious, she does not know this joke. SHE IS FROM SPACE. ]
I'll tell you why after.

[ EIGHT. GEDDIT. god, cas, you're a child. ]
I'd originally guessed it's because 7 is a prime number, and prime numbers can be intimidating. Humans have become so inventive with wordplay over the centuries.

louder
groaning ]
action
after the second obnoxious groaning, cas peels himself up from the kitchen table and paces over to wherever dean's hanging out groaning, stopping in front of him with the least impressed look and a flat voice. ]
Can I help you, Dean? [ exasperated but a little sassy too ] Are there words you'd like to say, or should I assume you'll be communicating through incomprehensible grunts for the day?

The jokes are fun. I like that one.
My galaxy was at war, a war they didn't quite realize they were fighting at the time. Our government was cruel and tyrannical. We fought back.
I couldn't watch it happening here and do nothing. These people deserve better. [ better than her shit life, better than her shit fate. ]

Thank you.
[ which is spoken out loud as well while he's brain-typing it, with a glare shot to some douche making judgmental grunts at him in his own home. ]
That sounds... exhausting. It must've been difficult for you, to find a new world only to be faced with the same struggles and threats.
Nothing about revolution or organized resistance is easy, or painless. But you're right. A people, any people, deserve better.
