True. They say the power is sometimes connected to who you are as a person, so if there's things you are good at or normally like, OR things that seem like it would be cruel to have something tied to that, it might be that.

I couldn't really do that either, I think I'm too used to magic. It's pretty easy for a spell to go wrong and kill someone, so you can't play around.

Yeah fair at this point the terminology is just semantics. I'm pretty sure people can't open black holes in their first go at their powers here though, when an amateur magician could.

It's a mystery. Anyway re: powers I'd say not to force it? I tried to force it for two months and got no where. It'll come around.

I tried to focus on the other powers we have, like the empathy bond and dreamwalking? So by the time your individual power comes around, you might already have experience with the others.

I'm not sure how people do get a handle on it, I keep doing it by accident too, but at least I know instantly when it's a dream now, it was a little more confusing in the start. Have you been walking in others more often?
