I know of a few people who don't know what theirs is yet, but I haven't heard of anyone having confirmed that they don't have a power. Then again, it's difficult to confirm a lack of something.

Have you been trying to find out what it is?

It does, but the practicalities of actually figuring out what it is are questionable. I've heard most people end up discovering it accidentally.

Agreed, and purposefully trying to activate it is risky too, since we don't know what the powers might be. I wonder if there's somewhere isolated enough that new arrivals could practice alone, without worrying about accidentally hurting someone or being seen glowing by the native population.

Almost everything is risky to some extent, but real estate scouting is pretty low on the scale.

It shouldn't be particularly dangerous here, unless there's something I'm drastically misunderstanding about how looking for somewhere to rent goes compared to how it works in my world. The biggest risk would be damaging the building and having to pay for it.
