@jack.miller (morningstar network)
So, this was Jyn's idea, but since I'm here in the sim and have eyes and ears on things, guess you'll have to deal with me.
I think most of us want to take the UNA down a few pegs, to say the least, and we have an opportunity to do that now. Pretty much all of New Amsterdam is stuck in here with us, and they've got to be scared and pissed that this has happened to them. They're not used to this kind of thing, not like we are. If we can convince some of them of the truth, which is that the UNA is to blame for all of this by keeping Judas captive and using him for years, maybe we can finally start to change public opinion about them.
It may not help us get out of here. I know other people are working that angle. But while we're stuck in here, we may as well make the most of it.
I know some people have already been trying to appeal to New Amsterdam's citizens, to influence them or inspire them. [ Operation Hope. He's not willing to even use the term, but he assumes people will know what he means. ] We may not have access to any of our solid proof here, but if you have any personal accounts or information to share to give your claims more credibility, then spread that around.
If anyone wants to post something on the local network to get the word out, be my guest. I'm not much of a public speaker, and I'm sure there's someone else better suited to it.

[Understatement?]
You got a list of points you want us to hit? It would help if we're all spreading the same message.

@kira.solo
I can help you with the message. Tell them about what the UNA did to me, and to the other Morningstar agents. About their lies.
no subject
What did they do to you?
no subject
They called it interrogation, but that's what it was. Because I was with Morningstar, and because I asked questions about Kurt Fischer that they didn't want to have to answer.
They tortured a number of other Morningstar agents for information at the same facility.

You okay talking about that publicly?

[ people have thrown themselves at worse in here, and for less. ]
This internal network isn't tied to my new ID. I think I'll be fine.
[ she lovingly sidesteps the real question about 'do you really want to rehash something traumatic like being tortured for all the public.' that, she hates. it makes her feel weak and useless again when she'd always been able to take care of herself before. but it has to be done, and she can compartmentalize it with just the facts as she had done when she warned the displaced that the UNA knew about the blue light powers as a result. ]

[Sorry, Rey.]

I want to do this.

Alright. I've got your back.

The UNA aren't the ones trapping them here. He is.

[ which is to say, she can't be counted on to word things right. she's new to ... basic human interaction. rey's most comfortable mode of operation is still silent isolation on account of all the trauma. ]

I know Clarke would already be here correcting you if she wouldn't really vouch for you.
[ theirs has been a complicated relationship, but she trusts clarke's word. ]
I just really want them to believe us.
[ she's invested so much of herself into this. ]
