So, this was Jyn's idea, but since I'm here in the sim and have eyes and ears on things, guess you'll have to deal with me.

I think most of us want to take the UNA down a few pegs, to say the least, and we have an opportunity to do that now. Pretty much all of New Amsterdam is stuck in here with us, and they've got to be scared and pissed that this has happened to them. They're not used to this kind of thing, not like we are. If we can convince some of them of the truth, which is that the UNA is to blame for all of this by keeping Judas captive and using him for years, maybe we can finally start to change public opinion about them.

It may not help us get out of here. I know other people are working that angle. But while we're stuck in here, we may as well make the most of it.

I know some people have already been trying to appeal to New Amsterdam's citizens, to influence them or inspire them. [ Operation Hope. He's not willing to even use the term, but he assumes people will know what he means. ] We may not have access to any of our solid proof here, but if you have any personal accounts or information to share to give your claims more credibility, then spread that around.

If anyone wants to post something on the local network to get the word out, be my guest. I'm not much of a public speaker, and I'm sure there's someone else better suited to it.

Mainly just the truth. The UNA had Judas, a famous AI from the Xelkoven War, in captivity all this time and were using him for their purposes. After he was freed, he decided to go on this rampage and pull people into a simulation in order to enact revenge for how he was treated.

It's easier to rally people around an injustice, especially when you're trying to turn them against the people in charge.
What did they do to you?

They tortured me.
They called it interrogation, but that's what it was. Because I was with Morningstar, and because I asked questions about Kurt Fischer that they didn't want to have to answer.
They tortured a number of other Morningstar agents for information at the same facility.

I've been trying to weaken the UNA since I got here. They used what happened with Kurt Fischer to entrench themselves even further, and to turn people against Morningstar instead. But if I can use this to hurt them, then it was worth it.

I want to do this.

If we word it right they will. Aren't these people all about wiping the AI out? The UNA didn't and now we're the ones paying for it.

I guess you could call the Kurt Fischer situation a screw up, but that was used against us.

It was a while ago, when the EMP hit New Amsterdam, which you may have heard about. We decided we wanted to kidnap and interrogate a UNA soldier during the chaos. Which we did, but then the UNA came to collect. Killed a few of us in the process, and then took Fischer back. They then publicly claimed that he'd been murdered by Morningstar.

Nice trick. Let me guess, the public reaction was bad.

It definitely didn't help with the public's impression of Morningstar, and for better or worse, we're all associated with them.
