Okay so can everyone see this? Being kidnapped twice is super cool (sarcasm). What are you seeing where you are? I'm not sure if we're all looking at the same stuff or what it means. There are definitely some puzzles and the whole 'if you do this on this wall then some other wall opens up' going on. Is that everywhere?

Sorry if I'm being vague, I'm not sure what details are helpful. Also watch out for the animals if there are any around you. Feel free to respond here with info on your areas and read it for that info because people have been here longer and know things that I don't.

Edit: I am in New Rio BTW. So there's where you guys went at Everest and Oslo, and people kidnapped to New Cairo and Rio. Which is just great.

Reporting in from New Cairo. Definitely seeing things like that too. Obstacles to scale over too. And lots of beautiful artwork.

Hi Angela! The artwork really is so gorgeous. I was moving some things in place and a wall started to move. So it's like one of those escape rooms or something, to a bigger scale.

I don't think so, no, we're mostly indoors. There were some really creepy giant bugs and snakes outside though. No proof they're poisonous but it feels like a gimme that in this situation everything's potentially trying to kill us.

I haven't seen any like those myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were ones like that around. Can you get pictures of some of the artwork for me? I'll swap with you.

It's mostly indoors here too, which really makes the animals all the weirder. Are they eating each other to survive? Recently placed in the ruins by someone?

Then a series of photos of the bright lights on the walls that are "painted from top down in beautiful, ornate shades, along with a metallic sheen that's unnatural in nature. None of the paint seems as if it could be of this world, especially given the imagery itself."]

Yeah Rio. I think they look really hungry, not sure if they're new. Just trying to keep out of their way.

[And pictures deserve an exchange in return. A few pictures come in of the immediate area inside the ruins: "The walls are covered in beautiful art, the oldest of which is a dedication to the relationship between Khufu and the earth deity Khnum. Much of the imagery around their relationship is looped in dark (even black) and golden lighting, with the other Egyptian gods drawn into the imagery itself. Ra, Osiris and Horus act as patrons of the relationship between Khufu and Khnum in this art, with all of them appearing in several forms to act as guardians."

There are also a few pictures of the interior layout. One has a snake with a falcon's head lurking in the background like some sort of cryptid, eyes glowing gold.]

If you know anything about the iconography, I'd love to hear. Rapid googling only goes so far.

For those of you who haven't pieced it together, I'm going to use this as an opportunity to say that we were given four locations in November. We being me, Markus Manfred (gone), Ojiro Juniper (gone), and Loki (here still). We intended to hit two of those locations, but now we're at all four "somehow."

Rey posits (and I agree) that there's no way that the guy who gave us these locations would make a point of getting us at all four at once. He doesn't strike me as the type.

[This could be proof that he is that type, but it doesn't check out. Why wouldn't he mention new information when Rey got Markus' location?]

Do the creatures all have golden eyes where you're at?

They do! Wait are they across the board yellow too? In Everest? New Oslo? Those are different types of places/flora/fauna, that seems weird.

Not weird. It's a clue. They're also outside (and in some cases, inside) of New Amsterdam, thriving off the vegetation there. [Bad username or site: jyn @ erso] recently covered a bit about it. I know she's been looking at it for longer than us.

Can you take pictures? With your implant. Assuming it's safe enough to do it. We can gather them all later, compare notes.

Yes definitely. Angela is sharing images with me from New Cairo too, I'm going to attach them here, I think that can be done. So we can share images of what we're all seeing. Maybe someone knows the patterns? I feel like there's an end result of this, all these puzzles, like we have to do them.

I can confirm animals with gold eyes in New Cairo. Some are a little more animal-hybrid?

There was also something in the food and/or water the mercenaries gave us. Caused side-effects. Vertigo, nausea, hallucinations, canine growth, mindless rage. And yes, gold eyes. Injuries healed up fast too under the effects.

Sounds like the effects from the monster parts some of us inhaled months back. Hallucinations and healing are new, though.

Did you figure out the cure, or is whoever who's out there still impacted? I might be able to help with that.

Hybrids check out, though. A few of us looked into the monster parts back in the day and got a cocktail of DNA readings back.

The hallucinations were animalistic. Violent. The healing began as soon as the fatigue and nausea stage.

Five minutes direct contact from another Displaced. Hurts like hell, but it worked.

I have serious concerns about who is making these, getting them down here, and how they're surviving in sealed tombs.

Clarke said that they got info on four different places, and only planned on going to two. But now we're at all four, so that's totally not a coincidence. Maybe whatever we do has to be done together.

himalayas, first pit stop on the climb to everest. there's a monastery here i've been to before, like 500 years ago.

there are puzzles, artifacts, artwork, and some kind of mechanism, a lot of stuff that's similar to what i found on a job searching for shambhala. turns out there's more than one mysterious beyul in tibet.

Yeah! We're in I think Rio de Janeiro, I saw the Christ the Redeemer statue although it's broken up. There is a monastery underground that has like stained glass pictures that you can move the wall for? It's definitely heavy Christian leaning in imagery but the images are moving in the next part. I'm not sure I've seen any mechanism yet but looking for it.

Hi you sound like you know a lot about this, do you know anything about Egyptian iconography? Angela gave me some pictures from New Cairo and it's definitely of some gods I recognize but not all of them. The pictures are above.

i see the usual suspects. ra, horus, khnum, osiris. they all look pretty normal, except that weird real life version of wadjet? in wall paintings she isn't depicted with gold eyes, but we're seeing a lot of gold-eyed animals here too. she was a protector of egyptian unification. thematically that's probably significant, seeing as the reliefs up here in the mountains are of a tibetan deity with similar qualities.

the man is khufu, he's the guy who commissioned the great pyramids.

Khufu! I'm mad at myself for missing that. Hmm. So the gold-eyed animals may be protectors of the ruins and whatever we're supposed to eventually make our way to? They don't seem to be attacking. I mean if magic was a thing here I'd say they might be possessed by someone who is watching us through their eyes, but who knows, maybe someone has a superpower just like that.

( Apparently, people are simply sending pictures in. Klaus takes one of the horizon outside the monastery first, ice mountains but also cosmic perfection. Nature in its' rawest form with a hint of sun glare in the corner.

One picture is of the inside of the monastery, one of the larger high-ceiling'd rooms. In the left foreground are a few sherpas who have come along for the ride. The monastery carries light well and the few glyphs seen in the photo would be Buddhist in origin, specifically explaining the process in death and reincarnation. Simple, simple shapes.

He also attaches a picture to one of the four meditation caves bathed in a similar blue light to their chests when they activate their chest plates. )

I know Nathan all ready explained exactly where we are, but I thought I'd provide some additions to our sets of pictures. It seems glyphs and symbols vary depending on what area we traveled to
Or were taken to, not to lose that careful perspective.
There are four of these rooms, rooms that reflect the same light we glow with and they opened another passage way. We're moving through a valley now. The creatures here, too, have gold eyes.

Oh! The blue light! That has to be a clue. It may be that you have to use the blue glow to do something later on, so be ready, that might end up the answer, and why we're the only ones who can do it. (I'm guessing that may be why we're here, to do whatever it is.) It seems like all these locations are sort of geared toward their historical connections, like Egyptian gods, Christian stained glass, Buddhist glyphs.

Watch out for traps there are definitely going to be traps. And I'm wondering if the yellow eyed creatures are here to watch us more than kill us.

Clarke thinks we're being tracked. I'm not sure how I feel about our trackers being of the animal variety. Or, AI animal-like variety. I am not a fan of this wealth of possibilities when it comes to just who is pulling our strings.

I didn't even think it could be AI but I guess that would make sense if they all have yellow eyes and seem smart enough to keep their distance for now. So someone WANTS us to do this, a whole lot, if they brought people to different locations for this purpose.
