Okay so can everyone see this? Being kidnapped twice is super cool (sarcasm). What are you seeing where you are? I'm not sure if we're all looking at the same stuff or what it means. There are definitely some puzzles and the whole 'if you do this on this wall then some other wall opens up' going on. Is that everywhere?

Sorry if I'm being vague, I'm not sure what details are helpful. Also watch out for the animals if there are any around you. Feel free to respond here with info on your areas and read it for that info because people have been here longer and know things that I don't.

Edit: I am in New Rio BTW. So there's where you guys went at Everest and Oslo, and people kidnapped to New Cairo and Rio. Which is just great.

Has anyone yet theorized this is all an incredibly complex simulation?

Well you've gone right off the board, haven't you. Forget Mrs. Peacock with the wrench, it's aliens with the experiment.

I doubt there's a powerful enough simulation to take someone after their death and their daughter from after. Unless, we are merely parts to the simulation and we believe otherwise. Thank you for that reverse-Matrix idea you've now planted inside my brain. I was going to ask how everything was going, Angela, but now I'm just going to thank you for that.

I'm sitting inside the Great Pyramids of Cairo where a snake-cat is currently trying to slither up the wall to nibble on my ankles. I'm allowed to ideas bordering on absurdity for consideration.

I'd ask to remain on this 'snake-cat' business but I seem to have struck a curious nerve. I did die yes, but apparently, that didn't preclude me from being brought here. So, I imagine I am no longer dead. I haven't yet asked or had anything properly checked out. Something about involuntary brain surgery torture keeps me from wanting to do any experimental tests.

News of our "brain surgery" hadn't reached you?

Clearly I'm outside of the gossip loops. What's this about brain surgery?

When the artificial intelligence deemed Cassius reached out to our group, it offered a reward for those that helped in the retrieval of its' friend, Judas. I turned it down, but helped anyway because someone I loved was embroiled in with it. But, others, including that someone, struck deals. One such deal was to get the neuroimplant taken out. We believed that it was one of the reasons certain power, shall we say, stayed dormant. But, instead of simply removing them - ie. brain surgery, we were tortured, and the implants returned to our skulls. It was a monumental waste of time and I now have a psychotic doctor on my list of people who I'd like to maim.

[This suddenly gives Caroline's words so much more context too. Honestly, Ginia can't blame anyone for wanting the implants out.]

That's terrible. Was there any reason why Cassius renegaded on the deal? Are you and the ones you know okay? Any negative side-effects?

There was no reneging. Under the definition of his "deal," he did remove our neural implants temporarily. And by he, I mean a psychotic, sadistic doctor who was in contact with Cassius at the time.

As for side effects, other than the obvious in recovering from such an ordeal, nothing has become of our detour. And the one of us that had side effects from her experimentation has since recovered.

Is there a name or description for the doctor? I can't imagine he'll be easy to find, but who knows.

There's a relief there at least. I'm still sorry that happened.

I've been meaning to thank you for helping me at the start, but life got in the way. How about drinks afterward if we all survive this situation?

Johanne. He wore glasses. And according to a friend, there was more than one of him which either points to identical androids of some sort of something equally puzzling to wrap our heads around.

Drinks afterward, then. I, too, meant to reach out. But. Future water under our respective bridges then?

Truly something to ponder. I could use more of a description to work with, but perhaps when we both aren't dealing with unknown dangers.
