Okay so can everyone see this? Being kidnapped twice is super cool (sarcasm). What are you seeing where you are? I'm not sure if we're all looking at the same stuff or what it means. There are definitely some puzzles and the whole 'if you do this on this wall then some other wall opens up' going on. Is that everywhere?

Sorry if I'm being vague, I'm not sure what details are helpful. Also watch out for the animals if there are any around you. Feel free to respond here with info on your areas and read it for that info because people have been here longer and know things that I don't.

Edit: I am in New Rio BTW. So there's where you guys went at Everest and Oslo, and people kidnapped to New Cairo and Rio. Which is just great.

I'm glad we're here together too. Honestly this is practically a vacation in some ways than what we came. But yeah we are both here. He's good at puzzles too but only when he has to be.

At least you were kidnapped to the same destination. I would have offered to keep an eye out for him if he'd ended up New Cairo.

Who knows, maybe there's time for you two to sightsee after.

By the way, tip? Try seeing if the chest lights reveal anything. Found a puzzle where you could only see the solution with the blue chest glow, not from a flashlight.

Oh cool. I haven't really used much of the chest lights before, and that makes sense. See, I feel like there's a reason we're all here, if so much of the puzzles require things that only we can do.

I know all the signs point toward us being special or we're here for a purpose, but I still personally hate the idea.

Oh yeah, it sucks. Because no one ever tells you what the purpose is if you ARE here for a purpose, until it's like oh shit I killed a god and all magic is gone, great.

It's also notable no one here seems average either. There are so many people with training of some kind, are professionals in a field, vampires, gods, etc.

I mean, maybe I'm being super suspicious or paranoid here or just fanciful, but bringing a bunch of qualified people with skills you just mentioned and giving the super powers and moving them around like pieces, kind of feels like building an army.

No, I think it's right being suspicious or paranoid of anything about this situation.

I wonder if it's worth surveying whether there's anyone here that's more average. The kind of person you'd find if you sampled a hundred people in New Amsterdam.

I'm not sure how to word that. "Hey anyone here consider themselves totally normal?" Then again it could be ... how many people are from worlds without superpowers, advanced technology, magic, supernatural type of things.

I think beginning with the world as a base is a good starting place. Because it would make sense whoever/whatever is bringing us here would want people used to powers and/or technology.

Anyone with military or similar training would be easy to rule out too. Maybe people with professional training like doctors and law enforcement too?

Basically people who already had very useful skills and knowledge of supernatural or adavanced technology. Do you think it's intrusive to ask? People might be secretive. Maybe we can make it anonymous? IDK.

I can't imagine we're the first people to think of this. The people willing to answer will, the ones who don't will ignore it.

The only way to post things anonymously is to post on the network during the period of house arrest after arrival but before El sets up your ID.

Oh! See, things to learn still. But yeah I agree. People who already have their info out there may ignore, but we have enough new people here too to add to the pile of skills. I THINK someone said (or it's on that document) that people are willing to train people too on the skills they do have. So that's also great. I really need to learn hand to hand combat now that I don't have magic.

I'm not sure how up to date the list in the guide is, but there are trainers for powers and physical skills.

I can teach you self-defense too.

YES please. I feel ridiculously useless at this point without my magic and I don't know really how to throw a good punch.

How would you also feel about learning how to use something like a baton? They're good self-defense weapons.
