@kylo.ren - november 4, 2511; locked to morningstar agents and contacts
Investigation into the leak that lead to the raid on Morningstar agents in September strongly suggests that the source might, in fact, be survivors of the crash in June.
It is time to consider moving on the UNA.
However, this poses several problems, particularly given that our goal is ultimately to reclaim the captured agents.
The first is determining their location; Morningstar has been unable to track the captured agents and it is likely that the UNA has a means to nullify or otherwise cloak the implants much in the way Morningstar has been able to do with the Displaced following each drop-off.
The second is extracting the agents once we have determined their location; this will place any rescuers directly in the path of UNA soldiers who are, as experience suggests, difficult to engage directly. It is also likely that in accomplishing this, the UNA will immediately suspect Morningstar which will lead to an elevation in hostility.
The most efficient way to acquire the information that will allow us to do both is to go to the source: capturing one of their soldiers.
To that end, the UNA has a base locally. Scouting for information will be difficult though not impossible.
Ideally, we will be looking to pin down movement patterns and shift times before moving onto outright capture; the soldiers work in groups. We will also need to secure a site to hold them once they’re in our custody.
Those that wish to assist are welcome, particularly those with abilities and experience beyond that which Morningstar can provide. Additionally, anyone wishing to weigh in on this plan or offer alternatives should do so now, as the longer the agents remain in UNA custody, the greater the risk to the rest of us.
( OOC NOTES:
1. while the tone of this post might give the impression that kylo ren has determined his course and will not be moved, we are in fact very open to suggestion and brainstorming.
2. this network is locked to morningstar agents and contacts. if you would like to be involved and have not signed up with morningstar yet, the page is here.
3. any ideas discussed here will likely be referred back to in the upcoming event, despite the fact that this network is happening prior to knowledge of the event.
4. mods wanted to clarify that there is only a single base in the city. )

@rey.nolo
I can hold a soldier in place if someone else can take them out, or if we can figure out how to get one alone. To make it easier to fight them.
It worked during the raids, but I couldn't hold them very long. I think I could hold it longer now.
And [Bad username or site: jon @ snow] mentioned it would be worth drawing blood samples to see if it's the same drugs used in us that makes them so obedient and unified. [Bad username or site: clarke @ griffin]? What do you think? How fast would we need to get it to you for testing?
@clarke.griffin
It's possible that Katelin looked into this before. [Bad username or site: leo @ fitz] Do you know if she did?
[As much as they want to avoid the elephant in the room called Bobbi Morse is gone, this is a time in which they need to acknowledge it.]
I can say from observational experience that I don't believe it's a drug. I've seen a drug like that at work with soldiers/warriors. It's not the same. That doesn't help much when it comes to actual evidence. I'm sorry.

Assuming we can get one into our custody, of course.

[Clarke wishes she could be more help here. She's good at knowing what can be found in blood, as well as taking samples. These are all very basic things.]
I think Stephen's ability will be of more use here.

Until we hear from Katelin, is there anything else it'd be useful to check about how they work if we do get our hands on one?

I'm offering you access to what might give us more information about the drugs we were given, which you were looking into previously.
[ rey has to wonder: is she going to twist herself into knots to avoid any semblance of functioning as a team? she'd thought it was looking better, given how open she'd been about the shrines. it's hard not to feel like she'd been wrong now. ]
Forget it.

But if you can find a way to test it, yes, I'd like to know the answer if it comes up positive. As it has to do with the Displaced.
no subject
[ ergo, it won't be tested if she's not following it up because it couldn't be more outside of rey's wheelhouse. the key to cooperation is that it be, well, mutual. this just feels like clarke spitting on her effort to be helpful to clarke's aims, then asking that rey still look into them and let her know the outcome. ]

[ with the way she'd taken point on it, rey had taken her for an expert. she's only incrementally forcing herself to walk that assumption back now, hearing clarke say it's a matter of can't, not won't. ]

[ rey's sour, now. ]
I was offering it because I thought she'd want to know.
[ for herself. because that's what she had at least deduced clarke would be invested in -- things she was already looking into for herself anyway. she'd thought it was an olive branch. so, again. sour. ]

I do know her ability attenuated as she used it against them.
[ wait science words ]
It got weaker. They were able to resist after multiple uses. Not sure how Strange found it.

I'm not comfortable being contacted for Morningstar business that I'm not capable of accomplishing without someone's help. I'm offering my help as a medic, not a scientist. I'm not a scientist, Fitz.

[ which hopefully takes care of the second part of this convo, where he, too, switches to PRIVATE. ]
Of course, Clarke. I’ll talk to Rey and Kylo about a more appropriate channel to accomplish their aims.

[Never mind the fact that Clarke hates having her uselessness thrown in her face repeatedly. It's no one's fault, but she's struggling quite a bit.]

@jon.snow
It's worth collecting their blood and testing it. We could test it for other things, too. We need as much information as we can get.
[we meaning you. sorry clarke. jon wishes bobbi were here, also, but he can't say that.]
no subject
Besides, I'm not officially a member of Morningstar. I've offered my assistance as a medic. I can take blood, but testing it will be impossible without some help, which we don't have.
@leo.fitz
I’ve noted your points.
If we gather the samples, we can outsource the testing to a local contact.

[Bad username or site: clarke @ griffin] This should offer better help than I could.
