i'd like to point out that the future still apparently celebrates halloween. sure, there are bar crawls and costume parties everywhere you look... but do we really need the publicity of booze + empathy bonds + blue light specials?

maybe we should consider throwing our own party. any takers?

What else are you supposed to do on Halloween? I'm all for drinking and dressing up and binge-eating sweets, don't get me wrong! We don't have these sort of festivities where I come from - what's the purpose of such a day?

i'm sure there's some cultural explanation behind the actual origins of halloween [ like the day of the dead or the chinese feast of hungry ghosts ] but most people just take it as an excuse to dress up and drink and eat their weight in fun size snickers bars

if you really want to get traditional, i think there's some lantern festival or something that'll happen
i didn't look too much into it

Just design the costumes to include glowing blue elsewhere as well. It would not stand out if your arms are similarly neon.
