@clarke.griffin
There are a lot of things I can say here. I can chastise all of us for how discussions went before. But that's not important. People are in danger, and they're people who have helped us. I haven't made it a secret that I think Morningstar doesn't deserve devotion from us. The thing is, there's a difference between devotion and helping out someone who's helped you. It's time for us to do the latter. My issues don't mean anything. We know Morningstar can do good work.
So, let's talk. Let's plan. We should all do it in the same place.
I want to lay some ground rules.
1. Even if we've been asked to use the weapons only to stun any assailants, a number of us know it's not that simple. So, let's skip the morality talk about whether or not that's okay. Sorry, Gaby. I actually trust most people won't go in guns blazing. [She actually wouldn't if there weren't "civilians" involved. She's still not sure she does now, but that's unimportant. White lies have a place here.] Self-defense is a thing. Let's all trust one another.
2. I have a lot of questions about this. We all do. But we have a limited time to pull this off. Let's try to focus on what we can do and then figure out the rest later. If you think you can get answers now that can help us? Bring it forward. Make a new reply to draw eyes to it.
3. I figure we have two separate directions we can go, but we need all hands on deck. If you're not comfortable handling a gun, take the address for the safehouses and get them set up.
4. Nothing "funny" about these rules. Which means the first thing you're all going to say is ... about my rules. Get it out of your system.
[There is a lot more to say, a lot more to add, but Clarke knows that it likely isn't her place to talk about it. Plus, some of these people are adults, even if they don't act like it. Maybe they won't make a joke about her rules.
... But she bets they will.]
edit: Daisy set up a useful map for everyone. Keep it updated as best as you can.
[ooc: this is the previously discussed and set up IC planning post for the event! Clarke won't be replying to everyone.]

@cain.fighter
Not knowing how else he could possibly help, Cain sends a quick reply. He's not the most verbose or articulate in general.]
im in
where do you need me
no subject
Good to have you with us. I know you're capable in a fight.
How are you with firearms?
(And if you've triggered your ability, now would be a good time to mention it.)

im a good shot
wont take me long to get adjusted to their tech, just gotta practice handling first
and yeah, i triggered it. managed to practice a little. got the ability to move stuff, i guess, from one location to another
like the whole thing just vanishes and reappears somewhere else
ripped a lock off a door that way not long ago

[ they're rather famous for the Look and the undying dedication to their cause. ]
Sounds like we're both dealing with spatial abilities.
[ fascinating. this marks his first public admittance of anything related to his powers during his two and a bit months here. ]
What's the biggest object you've moved? It's fine, if it's the lock.
[ that could still shift bullets, guns or parts of them, segments of the carapace... ]
no subject
[He would've, anyway, but it's good to have explicit permission. Right?]
wasnt the lock
ive moved small boxes but thats it
stuff larger than that doesnt budge, so looks like its limited

thrilling. ]
Can you take pieces of things or only the whole?
As I said before, the armour will be our primary obstacle, should we encounter any UNA soldiers, so carving out an opening positions us to knock them out with a well-placed stun, even if we can't seriously wound them.
[ without guaranteed access to kill shots, stun is of particular use. at least that's why fitz assumes morningstar recommended it, as a pragmatist. ]
no subject
but its harder when its that specific
havent practiced a ton
i could still try it
[Maybe in a dire situation where they require a kill shot, Cain could exercise the power. What better way to practice?]
@margaret.carter
It doesn't have to be terribly specific. Chest or back will do, if not the head.
[ If it's a kill shot they're after. Not preferred, given Gaby's recommendation, but... ]
Otherwise I'd expect aiming for the joints is our best bet. They'd have to allow for mobility which makes them the weakest points on the armour. Assuming there's any sense to how its constructed.
no subject
[He was just going to go with what felt right in the moment, i.e. wildly unplanned.]
ill keep it in mind
chest, back, head
joints if not
so we okay killing these guys?
@markus.manfred
Stunning may might be easier than relying on a well-aimed kill shot. We should keep that in mind, along with Gaby's own stated preference that we incapacitate, not kill.
[And it's probably not terribly hard to guess at Markus' own, by way of this reply. That being said, even this android knows that there's a clear line drawn between what is reasonable and what is not. Therefore, an addendum:]
I think we should consider the latter as a last resort, only if absolutely necessary.
no subject
Stunning won't require the same precision but still buys us the window of time we'll need.
Here's to hoping it works.
no subject
Stun, not kill, in the first instance.
[ the choice is about strategy as much as respect.
we'll see about the second instance, eh. ]
no subject
[Is he the only one?]
on my way.
