Yours was the first transport intercepted but that doesn't necessarily mean you were the first altogether. It just put the deliveries that followed on their radar. I doubt I'm the first to consider it, but has anyone tried searching for others like us? Here or in the other cities?

Not to my knowledge, but I'm not exactly an authority. If our resident keepers were aware of anything they'd likely have told us by now, but it might be worth asking Gaby or El if they can put out any feelers all the same.

As for everyone else, people tend to keep on top of the network. It'll be a good place to start asking questions.

What are we doing right at this moment, Dr Strange, if not asking and answering questions?

Us, specifically? I'd say that about covers it.

If you want more than I can tell you though, you'll need to look further afield. A lot can happen in two weeks.

I believe it; our being here is proof enough of that. Even if we have no concept of how long it's truly been.

Five weeks, months, centuries? The last, for me. Give or take a few decades.

Likewise. I don't think many of us hail from within a century of this time. How are you getting along with the future?

We're on speaking terms but certainly not on a first name basis.

You'll get there. Or you won't. I'm still undecided.

But did you have anything like these neural implants where you came from? Or when, rather. Because we certainly didn't in 1947.

We had various technologies heading that way, if nothing yet capable of interfacing with the brain on the scale these things do. A long way off yet, but no 1947.

But we're talking now, you must've got to grips with it. I wager you'll be fine.

It's incredibly intuitive, whether I like it or not. And I haven't mucked it up too badly while learning what's what.

But if we've got to make our way out in the world, a passing familiarity with the technology won't do.

True. But sink or swim goes a surprisingly long way to getting you up and running. There really is no way to learn how to exist in the world as it is now other than to do it.

My sentiments exactly, doctor. I'm quite pleased to say I've always been a quick study. But I'm not opposed to a bit of help here and there.

This network is quite invaluable.
