Hello you lot. I know people might still be pissed about what went down, so ignore if you don't want an update, however.

So Riverstone sent us medical reports but since I don't know what any of it means, if someone with modern/medical know-how wants to look and explain shite, I'll send it to you. These are the summaries I think I understood:

Our powers don't seem to be biological? So when we used them they didn't show any biological changes? I think? Don't know what that means.

I agreed to do a dream study to try and figure out why I keep showing up in your dreams, they said strangely our brains appear completely awake when we're doing it. No wonder I'm bloody tired.

Also can someone who's been around for a bit explain what the Mariana Trench was?

Added: I got weary of not letting other people take the buck on this one, they gave us the name James Henries and said if we told you lot they'd lose their advantage. Hopefully not, but there you go!

It's not that simple.

I have goals of my own here. Paths I hope to follow and am following. But with these naysayers acting as if one person's mistakes happen to be everyone's mistakes, we're at a crossroads. I know the same could be said for Rey, but she gave Riverstone incentive to move on what they likely already knew.

Lance, on the other hand, maintains a document with all of our leads, and refuses to draw any concrete conclusions because he's claiming to be objective. But in claiming that objectivity, he suggests that his prior experience tells him that we can't call a spade a spade. At the same time, he's treating himself as an authority for the rest of us, and even taking care to talk down to those I believe he should consider friends. You are friends, aren't you? At the same time, he doesn't stand up for what he believes in, calling in his idiotic pals to finish up his fights.

That isn't objectivity. Ren thinks of it as cowardice. I see it as a reluctance to stand his ground. No detective follows a single lead. He's apparently not good at following any leads.

i think the more people insist they're objective, the less objective they probably are
i can't tell you how many people i've met who are convinced that science can explain magic and refuse to even admit that magic might be something outside of science completely
they think they know how the universe works, and anything outside of it can be forced into the same box
and maybe he is afraid to come to a conclusion about it
people who have been pulled to other worlds before might think they have some kind of leg up on us even though they haven't been here as long as people like clarke or rey or loki

but i think the opposite is true
i think people are insisting on following way too many leads at once and not dismissing any of them because they're afraid they'll miss something
even if some of those 'leads' aren't getting us anywhere
which means we're being forced to chase so much shit at once we're not making progress and we're doing stupid shit like giving riverstone our dna
by the way, i don't think he's calling anyone in to finish his fights
i'm pretty sure those guys are doing it on their own

How worrisome. He can't commit to a single idea to maintain the high ground, but everyone else can leap off the pedestal for him.
