Riverstone is interested in cooperating with the Displaced to learn more about the people who brought us here. They figured out who I was when I put in the paperwork to change my name back. Apparently, I'm still on the UN's most wanted list, but someone prevented the UN from acting to bring me into custody. 

I don't know who, and neither does Riverstone — in fact, they asked me about it.

But they know that I'm one of the Displaced, which actually explains a few things. I've been working for Riverstone for months. After I went to Everest, I was gone a bit longer than the rest of us, well beyond El's coverage. They gave me back my job anyway. I don't think this was news to them. If you ask me, that's a sign they're not out to get us, but I realize not everyone will agree there.

Now they want to talk to all of us, or as many of us as are interested. Riverstone is offering to pay travel expenses in New Beijing for one week for anyone who wants to undergo observation and testing of their power, and who's willing to answer some questions. I know that sounds scary. I know scary. The UNA had me in custody for some time, running "tests." But Riverstone claims that what they're offering is different, that we'll preview everything first.

Before you decide, I should mention ... they think they might know something about who's been dropping us off. In return for our cooperation, they're willing to exchange that information. 

I'm not telling anyone what to do, and no one else should try to do that either. But if follow (this) link, you can register your information with the Riverstone employees in charge of this, and they'll reach out to you to arrange the trip.

Too many people have control over us in this world because they know more about us than we do. And we lost one of our only sources of information coming out of the simulation.

[Will he still feel irrationally guilty about not taking the chance after what Rey said? Yep.]

[And she knows that. It's why she's mad at Rey right now.]

No. Or what happened on Sanctum. We can't risk any of that happening to us.

I'm worried that they know exactly what they're looking for with this.

Bellamy, we have to stop this from happening.

Rey's convinced she's doing it to save her friends. You know how stubborn that makes people. Do you think anyone else can get through to her?

No.

So we stop the whole thing in its tracks.

We stop it from within. Keep it from ever happening again.

Mount Weather all over again, huh?

If it comes to that. And you know as well as I do that it will.

Cassian had a dream where someone tried to pull the blue stuff out of him to put it somewhere else. Things went badly because of it.

[jettisons]

What kind of dream was this? One that meant something?

Yes.

It was a shared memory. Of something that happened before.

I was in there, too. And my power. It was there.

It doesn't look like you have a choice. They have made their own. The potential rescue mission may be the only option attached to this.

I told Bellamy my concerns if he lets this woman tempt him into going himself. I don't think my interference was welcome.

[strove]

There's always a choice, Lexa.

What did you say to him?

I told him I was concerned if he agreed that you and Murphy would insist on going too. And that he should consider that before making a choice.

[strove]

If Bellamy is going to be doing anything, it's more likely to be because of me and not because of Rey.

But you telling him what to do isn't going to make him happy. It won't ever sit well, even with some of our history behind us. It's not as far behind for him.

[coalitions]

I tried to pose it not as an order but as a statement, but I fear most of what I say sounds like an order.

This is a bad idea, we can't trust these people with our bodies. We are all connected by the glow or whatever it is, which means if some of us cause this, all of us might suffer for it.

[strove]

Rey won't listen. And I know I haven't been reasonable here, but it's a long running tendency of her doing this.

And I am worried about what this will mean for Bellamy if he chooses to care for her.

[coalitions]

It's difficult to be reasonable when someone is increasingly unreasonable.

He already cares for her. He thinks he can convince her to change.

[strove]

Maybe they'll get there. But I don't know. Rey doesn't grasp why we do things like we do them, but Bellamy is more on her level.

[Heart over head.]

But it won't be this time. Not when she's convinced she can get people back she's lost.

We have done many things in the name of saving our people. She may think the same is happening here, but it is not her alone.

She is acting as a leader by making a decision that will have consequences for everyone, but she isn't thinking like one. She is not thinking of the whole, she is thinking selfishly. It will not end well.
