I have been tasked by my employers to assemble a field team to collect and investigate some abandoned research down on Adelaide Island to the south.

Some of my colleagues will be joining us. They are men of science.
Our main purpose will be to ensure they can do their jobs adequately, though we may be assigned other tasks as required.

Please register your interest with me along with any useful skills that may relate so that I may forward it to my colleagues.
I have been told to dress warmly.

Should you decide to volunteer, I ask that you swear to be on your best behavior.
You will be coming on my recommendation, and I do not desire to make excuses for anyone while I am working.

It is not only the reptiles that interest me.
It is how they and other animals on this world have adapted to it.

If this has to do with the monsters, then I want to go. They're not like the monsters I'm used to fighting, but I want to know more about them and where they came from.

I've traveled through snowy areas before. I'll help however I can.

While I've not had any formal training as a scientist, I have taken part in research missions before now. I'm also a competent tracker and hunter, though I suspect the former skill might be more useful than the latter.

I'm no woman of science but I have some experience in protecting the smart folks from potentially dangerous things. I also can carry a lot of heavy equipment and generally be a delight to be around. I'm skilled at hunting and tracking myself.

I have a masters degree in engineering & a minor in chemistry, that might be what you're looking for
there are definitely people here way over my level, but I haven't seem them volunteering yet so I figured I'd toss my hat in the ring

but I should probably know what exactly the objective is here
what are we trying to learn, how will it help us?
I might not even be useful depending on what you're looking for


it's probably also worth mentioning that these men of science may be out of my league too if they're any good, considering they've got 500 years future-learning on me right now

I suppose that depends upon your definition of "us".
The facility I work with is largely focused on environmental changes on this planet, and how it effects the life living here.

This research was previously abandoned for lack of evidence.
But there are many here who have volunteered who would not find the existence of such creatures to be so farfetched, including those whom I am working with.

Is this about protecting your colleagues while they do work? Or, do you need help with their science? I'm proficient in hacking, but I have a science, math, and engineering background. Seconding that I may not be as useful because of this years' tech, but I can offer help if you need it.

It will be difficult to know exactly what is needed before we get there.
So any knowledge is helpful and welcome.
The research was abandoned in its early stages, so we do not know if protection will be needed.
But it is better to take caution in such matters.

I will preface such a statement by informing you that the team we are working with is a team focused on environmental science, and evolution.

I don't have many skills that can help, but I'm good at observation and reconnaissance. If you give me pointers on where to look and what to look for, I'll pick it up quickly.

Observation and data collection is the top priority.

I intend to join, as well. Quite the expedition we have here, isn't it? For my part, I don't want to leave Ren to all hard work and no breaks, so that'll be my special skill.

I am a detective, though. If there's anything truly of interest there, I believe I may be able to help pick up on the less scientific of patterns.
