I hope this message finds y'all well.

My name is Eugene Hicks. I'm a veterinarian by trade, but I was a medic with a paratrooper infantry division in what those from Earth may know as the Second World War. Whatever gives us the source of our powers has seen fit to grant me some small healing ability also.

I've heard that medical personnel are in short supply, so please don't hesitate to seek me out should there be a need. I'm in residence at the safe house for the time being. I don't hardly care if we disagree on all things great or small or if you think it's a bother, it ain't.

Also, if anyone knows a decent pizza joint hereabouts, I'd appreciate being directed to it. Does the future have Coca-Cola perchance?

I'll take anything that isn't bugs. Even then, exceptions can be made should the pizza be sufficiently drenched in cheese.

The salted and cured deli meats seem to be in short selection here, it makes a good pizza rather difficult to come by.

Not at all.

Seems it's usually caused by emotional upset in some way, shape or form? Least so far as I can gather, but mine weren't hardly like that. I just cut myself cooking and the glow happened while I was doctoring it up.

It took some trial and error to realize what was happening, it don't hardly make a significant difference such that someone would cotton on right away, but I have experience enough tending wounds that over a few days I realized something had changed about the healing process.

I believe it's best described as a flatbread with toppings of tomato paste, cheese and usually a meat of some kind? Cooked usually in an open air oven of some sort. But I reckon you can put just about anything on them and cook them however you want and get about the same result.
