What is there to rush, when you're already knee-deep in it? My suggestion is that you only accept the inevitable and therefore thrive in its existence. It's what I've done, all these years. It makes life so much less of a facade.

I came back from the dead, fishboy. Lost my shit. My temper was always one wrong word away from flaring and going off on everyone--if I wasn't already losing it. I wasn't nice to anyone. I hurt people I shouldn't have. Sometimes I wish I never stepped back out of that grave. Others, I wish someone would've just fucking talked to me long enough to figure out what was going on. I made it hard, not impossible. People saw this angry man where they expected a dead kid and forgot who I was under it all. It sucked. So I get it.

Ah, well, for me personally, I don't have very vivid dreams anymore. Sometimes, people who've experienced head trauma don't. And the hours I keep mean I don't sleep very deeply.

And as I am OBVIOUSLY a fan of what's done outside of the eyes of authority, I'm now looking forward to our return to New Amsterdam!
