here's what i don't get

someone leaked the names and locations of those agents. that i get, people are corruptible. might be a problem for us at some point, if it's still a thing, but it's not weird.

what is weird is that the soldiers didn't knock on gaby's door and didn't plan for us at all. seems like a pretty big tactical fuck-up to me, unless they didn't know about our existence, but again. leak.

so, anyone got an explanation for that? hells, i'd take guesses, too.

Starting from scratch sounds daunting but not ill-advisable.
I'd assume that we may have something to do with it, as those of us among the Morningstar ranks were left alone.

so either the leak is from too long ago for that to matter (or information is too compartmentalised)
or they deliberately skipped us

why would they do that?

we're weapons they want to harness
we're in a giant social experiment run by the government (to what end?) (unlikely, right?)
we're secretly their kids and they're sentimental (also unlikely)
they're stupid
they're arrogant sods and don't consider us a threat
they didn't think we'd intervene for some reason

I'd say, with somewhat confidence, that we're not weapons. If we're that valuable, we'd not be left to our devices, and we most certainly are that.
There's a far bigger web here, and the more we know, the further we find ourselves within it.
First the megacorporations were suspected, and now the UNA. Who says that it's only them involved?
Or someone out there is trying to help us.

I say "corporations" loosely. They're made of people, aren't they? There's some cross, I'm very certain, but that doesn't mean the corporation as a whole is involved, just those nefarious individuals taking advantage of resources.

The organizations are separate in some sense, those that go between them may not be. Slim difference, I know, but it's important.

As far as why someone would help us, well- they have been, to some degree.
The "why" is still up in the air.

A company is a front. A trick.
The people governing, manipulating and utilizing resources are the ones behind that.

Those that head up everything most certainly cross into the UN, playing the system tot heir own means, but the visibility is low. There's something behind the curtain.
