@mako.sato

a couple of questions:

these id's, do they double as work permits? if being stuck here is a potentially long term problem, i'd like to get a job closer to what i do back home.

for the people who lost abilities back home, have you seen anything about how those got taken? or anything about how to get them back? just curious.

and finally, has anyone else noticed we're being followed?

Yeah, unfortunately they've been stalking us for the past few weeks. Presumably it's the UN's new task force.

In the long term, probably, but in the short term probably not. They're very capable of being dangerous, but right now it seems like they're more interested in observing and asking questions than being outright threatening, although that can easily change.

It's run by the UN, and its supposed purpose is to investigate and understand some of the recent worldwide events that have happened. The field team seems to be mostly made up of people who were Shrikes in the Aerie, which was basically an alternate universe everyone here ended up in a month or two ago. Shrikes were the highly trained secret police force there.

Definitely not.

Right now a few of us are working on identifying as many people as possible just so we're aware of those they are, but beyond that we're not really sure what to do just yet. Nothing they're doing is illegal, just creepy.
