after the fire, i talked to one of the firefighters on site. he said the fire started at the nurse's apartment and that the nurse was found dead inside. no cause of death known at the time, but they were already considering the fire suspicious. he said there'd be a full investigation soon.

i went to have another talk with him, together with marcos diaz. [ between her powers of emotional manipulation and marcos' truth inducement, they make a good team. ]

he's not involved in the investigation, but he's heard a thing or two. apparently someone was stockpiling carcasses of the smaller creatures that attacked in one of the other apartments. apparently people have been doing that, looking to resale the bodies.

not sure how useful that is, but i figure we're better off sharing whatever information we get, no matter how random. maybe we'll spot a connection or a pattern at some point.

i mean, if the fire department finds out this stuff during an investigation, i'd assume they'd tell the police

chocobos are big birds with suuuuper soft feathers
big birds are in uhmm above 6 feet depending
they're domesticated but it isn't recommended to keep them as pets
mostly they hang out in the wild
they're pretty popular for riding from place to place

heh well at least for me
they're my favorite

unless you're talking about ostriches
but ostriches are definitely not domesticated and i wouldn't ride one

i'm assuming ostriches are bird-ish

what are horses like?

seems our worlds are very different
horses have four legs. long ones
they come in different sizes and colours
manes and tails, covered in fur

oh! similar to chocobos! their sizes vary on the breed
but they got tons of colors too! yellow is the most common
pink, blue, green, purple, and black but that's more unusual
they have feathers all over and omg it's so soft

i wonder if i can ask markus to paint a chocobo...

i've definitely never seen a pink, purple, blue or gree horse
black and yellow-ish, but none of the other colours you mentioned

feels like nature's missing out on some rad colors
but ig it's the same with like dogs and cats? other animals don't have quite the same flair for colors like chocobos do
maybe it's a feathers thing
birds have different crazy looking coloring!
