Hi everyone, this is Quentin!

One of the things Clarke brought up was putting together a skill list of things people can do here and are willing to share. Keep in mind this is completely optional. If you want to ad your skill but don't have the time to train anyone, that's totally fine. Honestly, it's just so we know who is capable of what if we go into the next fight or whatever. Like for example if all the people with first aid training/medial experience add themselves, in an emergency we know who could be contacted.

Here is where you can get it! I organized it the best I could but if you have suggestions let me know. The more people who are willing to add themselves to this, the better for all of us. So please consider it! Thank you!

It's totally voluntary, I get if people don't feel comfortable with it! But if we're in a state of emergency or under attack like before, it's good to know who has the skills to handle it.

For example, let's say someone has water manipulation powers. We have a situation where a terrible fire breaks out. Obviously, everyone can try to combat it the normal way, but if someone has that power and we know about it, and they're willing to step in and help? It'll save time and might save lives.

Oh and also if a fire breaks out and we have someone with fire manipulation powers, they might be able to quell it too! So we could have a two-fer in a bad situation.

But I never have, so I believe that field can be seen as optional.

There's a lot to learn. I think I'm signing up for the self-defense training they've got going soon. I kept alive during the monsters, but you know, barely.

Quentin, thank you for putting this together, I'm sure it will be a helpful resources. I know you're getting a lot of voices concerned about the security of the data base, or the potential of it being used against us. I won't join in with them, though I agree.

I won't be adding my details to your data base, but I would be happy to help teach classes as needed if you're organizing that. Self-defense, handling weapons or explosives, and basic first aid for people with no medical training. Basic tourniquets, CPR, dental floss stitches, that kind of thing.

I believe @ lexa.trikru is one of the people putting together self-defense for civilians/members of the community right now, there may be someone else, I think there was a lot of convo on Clarke's post. I'll just keep it in my head what you're listing here.

Seeing as many of the Displaced are paranoid of keeping a data base, perhaps an offline option would be good? I'm happy to share some simple ciphers to keep an offline list from being useful if it falls into the wrong hands.

I plan on reaching out to others who volunteered and coming up with a more concrete plan. I volunteered most specifically for civilian training and escape planning as they were most in need of help, but I believe many of us have offered our skills for both civilians and members of our community.

A space has been set aside for training of Displaced right now and we believe a warehouse will be made available for civilian training once we are certain we will be allowed by the city.

I am happy to help both civilians and Displaced. But my priority would be to help the Displaced. We're often in the line of fire, or the first to run towards the danger.
