Hi everyone, this is Quentin!

One of the things Clarke brought up was putting together a skill list of things people can do here and are willing to share. Keep in mind this is completely optional. If you want to ad your skill but don't have the time to train anyone, that's totally fine. Honestly, it's just so we know who is capable of what if we go into the next fight or whatever. Like for example if all the people with first aid training/medial experience add themselves, in an emergency we know who could be contacted.

Here is where you can get it! I organized it the best I could but if you have suggestions let me know. The more people who are willing to add themselves to this, the better for all of us. So please consider it! Thank you!

It's totally voluntary, I get if people don't feel comfortable with it! But if we're in a state of emergency or under attack like before, it's good to know who has the skills to handle it.

For example, let's say someone has water manipulation powers. We have a situation where a terrible fire breaks out. Obviously, everyone can try to combat it the normal way, but if someone has that power and we know about it, and they're willing to step in and help? It'll save time and might save lives.

Oh and also if a fire breaks out and we have someone with fire manipulation powers, they might be able to quell it too! So we could have a two-fer in a bad situation.

i get the logic, that ain't the problem here. your explanation doesn't get anywhere near what happens when somebody waltzes into the governor's place and offers to rattle off the list for a chunk of credits. what's gonna stop one of us from selling everyone out to the highest bidder?

You could say that about the welcome guide or Lance Sweets' new information guide. Who is to say anyone wouldn't give all that information either, which says everything there is about us and what we know?

could stand to do something about protecting them, too, but i don't remember seeing a list of names and magic powers in them. you see the difference, right?

I think there's no more important information in here than in those guides. The secrets regarding El, Cassius, and where we come from, what we can do in general, the calendar of events linking us to when this all began, what we know about those orgs? That's more damaging in the environment here than if people are good in combat. If one thing falls into the wrong hands all things fall into the wrong hands, because it's all linked together.

No one has to sign up though, I totally get it. I personally trust this network to keep it secret, but obviously everything we do holds some potential for danger.

There's no way to take it offline, otherwise I'd agree. It's not like having a physical copy would do any better, someone could steal it, and we have no paper. But this network was made by El, I'm not sure anyone can break through zeir programming.

But you also are saying someone might sell our secrets which is always a possibility, but then that would lead to being like well we can't trust anything or anyone and we should never talk on the network or share information, which would be pretty limiting of our ability to communicate efficiently or keep everyone in the group informed of the shit going on with us.

But you're not wrong to be concerned and if you don't feel safe, that's totally reasonable.

There's a lot to learn. I think I'm signing up for the self-defense training they've got going soon. I kept alive during the monsters, but you know, barely.

Honestly, figuring out mine was accidental. It took months before that. But some people get it right away. I know a good portion of people said it happened from like extreme emotions or being in danger. Not that I want you to like go monster hunting.
