So, I know there's a lot going on right now which seems like the perfect time to throw more fuel on the fire.

First off, I hope everyone's doing okay after what happened. I haven't heard about casualties or anything so hope everyone's okay.

Now, getting to the reason why I'm here, some of you may have heard about my hopes to set up a soup kitchen slash safe place for the residents of New Amsterdam. We're oftentimes well protected when things happen but a lot of them are not. They lose their homes, their livelihoods, and sometimes more when things like this happen.

The purpose of this communication is for a few reasons:

1. ideas and suggestions on how to raise the money that might be needed for this
2. ideas on what else might be needed for a place like this
3. possible volunteers to help build, gather resources, and then staff this when it gets off the ground
4. possible problems that I might not be seeing

I'm not a fighter. You guys have that covered. This is more my forte here and it's a way I can help for what I hope is a longer period of time than just being nomadic and going from place to place. Thanks for any input you have.

Ah, I see. It's good to have people around though. I'm that dude who basically never wants to live alone.

I haven't lived alone since I got here and before this, I was living with a group of people.

So yeah, I get that. It's good to have people around to pick you up.

It is! Knowing me if I lived alone I would just pretty much all the time be out somewhere near people anyway. Also living with Silena must be great with her food power on top of, you know, her being her.

I sometimes completely forget about the food thing until she's got something ready to eat.

But yeah, she's pretty great. She was my daughter in some weird, twisted version of this place that actually happened on another world. Kind of hard not to like her after that.

Yeah. I thought I was married to a woman who wasn't my girlfriend and had a daughter who was my friend.

Really weird stuff.

That's a real mindfuck. But there's worse people to be imaginary family with. I one time got stuck in a hallucination where we were all in a mental institute so like, hallucinations are never really good.

Mental institute? Yeah, I've missed out on something like that and I'm grateful.

Hopefully we're not jinxing ourselves to having that happen now.

Well if we do, I have experience with it at least! Although my roommate probably can't rescue us this time, since he's here too.

He's psychic, he managed to get into my head and figure out I was stuck.

I know a few telepaths. Not a fan. I'm sure it can be used for good things but they used it to cause all kinds of trouble.

He's kind of a special type of magic user. They're rare. It caused some awkwardness in the start for sure because like, I can barely control my rambling when I talk out loud. I think so much. So so so much. Loudly, apparently. He can also teleport, usually.

Huh. I don't know if I'd want to hear thoughts but I can't deny that it'd be useful, you know. To know what someone's thinking and stay one step ahead of them.

I think he'd probably say it was a curse more than a plus, although the teleporting at least is cool! And he had normal magic on top of that. Some people have all the luck.

I used to be able to absorb and manipulate photons. Fancy way of saying I could shoot light and heat from my hands.
