@hafid.alghul
I'm looking to gather information. Fill out the form below.
What is the name of your home planet? Do you know the specific designation of your universe?
What is the year in your native world?
What is the level of technology? What is the most advanced thing you know of?
Did you possess abilities prior to arrival? If so, how much of those abilities have you retained?
What power have you been given?
Do you have any form of criminal record?
Do you have any special skills that could be used to our advantage?

That's impressive. Good to know.
[ it's hard not to sound like a serial killer bruh. what type of person says that's impressive, jesus. ]
Only twelve have gone missing from our numbers, disappearing from within secure spaces without a trace. I don't think we'll get our hands on a corpse, unless we get particularly lucky.
Or unlucky, rather.
Your theory is a tenable one. Anything to do with spacetime and dimensional warping seems most likely, at this point.

What do you mean by disappeared?

[ Fitz sends a LINK. ]
As in the case of Thor, it's difficult to account for the manner of their disappearance. Another man, Tony Stark, has also disappeared and reappeared. It should be noted Thor is from a universe that I've designated A1, alternate to my own universe (shared with Stark), A2. A universes share significant overlapping characteristics not present in the other universes represented by our crew of displaced persons.
Not a pattern as of yet, but my fellow A2 residents and I have begun a trial check-in system to ensure all our time is accounted for.
[ Two A-Universe disappearances is enough to have him concerned that they're in danger. Few other groups of their size have arrived from the same point of origin. ]
Given what we know about our own multiversal displacements and the matter of our chests, it stands to reason we're flickering in and out of this reality. That is to say, if portals were opened, they haven't been closed. If there's quantum energy involved, it's leaking. And if we have fucked with the fabric of spacetime, it's now unravelling.
[ quantum physicist and doomsday prophet, at your service. ]

It could be that. I haven't experienced that level of deterioration where time travel or alternate universes have been involved, but these could be crude amateurs.
Are those who disappeared reappearing in the spot they vanished from? If so, it could be a boom tube being remotely activated. They may claim to have no access to teleportation, but that doesn't mean our enemies have the same limitations.

[ pls judge everyone with him hafid ]
Boom tube?
You mean an Einstein–Rosen bridge?
I was thinking along those lines as well.

This entire city may very well their attempt at testing how well we function. With what I've seen of the future thus far, I don't think they'd be crying over some dead civilians in the name of progress.
[ violently shoving kate aside, welcome to being the new favorite marvelirino ]
Yes.
That and our other abilities seem to be tied to our limbic system. I suspect if we went digging we'd find an aberration there.

No better way to see if we'd test our powers than to throw genetically engineered monsters our way, after all.
[ basically ]
Hopefully Strange can get access to an MRI in the near future.
[ he's their only hope re: neural business. ]

Unless someone manifests X-Ray vision between now and then, all we can do is wait.
Or hope that if someone dies we can get to the corpse quick enough.
no subject
[ no?? someone would be dead?? ]
Have you performed an autopsy before?
[ "can i call u if i find a body" ]
no subject
Yes.
no subject
Was this your first vivisection?
no subject
No. My medical training was unorthodox, but thorough.
no subject
That's encouraging.
[ not sarcasm, actually. ]
I'm more classically trained, but I've cut my teeth on some unorthodox projects.
[ in the interest of sharing their skillsets, as damian suggested at the start of this post. ]

[ Seriously. He can do guerrilla medicine and can stitch up a wound like no one's business, but his knowledge is mostly combat oriented. How to hurt people. He can work in reverse to fix them, but that's not the most effective. ]
You mentioned you were dealing with people from an alternate world to yours. Did you identify where the timelines may have diverged?
no subject
[ taking people apart piece-by-piece isn't a common cv builder — but neither are the surgeries he and jemma have performed in emergencies. ]
Before our lifetime, it seems. We're the ripples.

I haven't spoken to anyone else whose universes resonate like A1 and A2.

That is the best thing you've said yet.
Tell me everything you can.

E1. Further along the timeline than the other two, but different enough that it's not possible for it to be an issue of time periods not matching up. This world has already interacted with an echo, none of the people here are not from that echo.
E2, who only has one inhabitant that I've met. The year between our worlds appears to be the same, but none of current events are. It has the same key figures as E1.
E3, has more. It appears to be nearly a decade earlier, but to my understanding most of the people are roughly the same age as they are in E2. Again, none of the same current events. It has the same key figures as E1 universe, but motivations appear to differ.

[ similar universes being drawn here or, perhaps, targeted. god damn it, he needs to ring loki. ]
I've been wondering if people from the same universes but different points in time are actually from parallel worlds about to diverge. You information bolsters that theory as well.
no subject
Perhaps they're from moments when the stability of the timeline are at its weakest and the subject is at its most vulnerable.
no subject
Was he at his lowest now, mind unmoored and self, disintegrating? A crisp voice echoes in his head, Don't be weak now, boy. ]
Two of A2 were pulled from stable but pivotal moments.
Three of us are as you describe it.
[ Stark, Strange, Fitz. ]
