Hi. I'm Riku. Sorry that I wasn't around for what everyone just went through. I can't beat myself up about that now.

[It's true. He wishes he could be there, but he couldn't. A part of him wants to get twisted up and obsessed over it, but he can't.]

I meant to make this message before I went away, but I didn't get the chance.

Not too long ago, we had a "Welcome Committee." The idea was to help people get settled in, get them a home-cooked meal, and make sure they get any questions answered. I promised someone I'd look into expanding it, but I can't seem to find her now. That doesn't change things.

I'm looking for someone to spearhead this. If you're interested, let me know.

If you're new, we have a guide here. Not sure how up to date it is.

Otherwise, there's another thing that we do. Those of us who got raised up to being 18 so we didn't need guardians, and those of us who need some extra schooling, all have a study group of sorts. If you're interested, let me know about that, too.

I guess I should say that I'm 18 now, so it's not much of a lie. I'm gonna keep it up anyway.

I guess ... it's a lot of things.

But mostly, it keeps us busy. I needed to catch up for the job I wanted to take anyway, and I saw how it might be important.

It's like when you went to a world and did reconnaissance. We're just learning some information that'll be useful across worlds. Like math. Some figures like measurements don't add up, or time, but that's something we can learn along the way too.

The best way to be a keyblade master is to pay attention to details and to know how to think on the fly. I got a crash course in that once I left the Islands, but there's a lot of research and information that I've gotta be good at sorting through. I can't just head in somewhere blind and unprepared.

If it was Angela, she is gone. She talked to me about the idea too. I've started bringing food to the safehouse with my spare cash kind of with her in mind, since she did that my first night here. I'll help out if someone else volunteers to take point tho.

If you guys ever want like a tutor or whatever for studies, I was going to be a professor, so like, I kind of know stuff.
