I don't know if many people from it are left, but last October quite a number of the Displaced experienced one of three dreams. They involved a bridge, a facility, and the first hints of our Avian themed bird projects. A few nights ago I had another dream that seemed to take place in the same facility as described in two of those original dreams.

In this new dream, a device called a Swiftlet was shoved into my chest, right where we light up upon Displaced contact and use of our powers. The point of the Swiftlet seemed to be control. Whoever was using it wanted to control me and what came next for me. Given all the bird themed naming conventions we keep running into, this name does not seem insignificant.

I think I witnessed a facility we as Displaced were kept in, or where we were given these powers, which I suspect now may be more like pieces of a whole rather than individual gifts. Throughout the dream I felt like I was in several places at once. I witnessed flashes of powers: air pockets on fire, the ground moving, and life being stolen from a nurse. They key part is these powers only bloomed after the use of the Swiftlet, when I fought back against it. I wanted to be whole. Immediately after, there was a sense of collective consciousness. Of many people fighting back. It was only stopped by a gas filling the facility, which is about when I woke up.

I would like to know if anyone else shared this particular dream, or any similar. If we are seeing fragments, we need all of them to put it together.

Related and recently with curious timing, it seems as though untraceable messages once again went out. This happened once before, though those messages all came from one source - leaked by Cassius, an AI formerly known as DAWN - the very same AI who caused the EMP in November. These messages were collected in this file, by a Displaced who has since disappeared. For the new messages, we have a second document. Given the source of some is still unclear, perhaps we should keep them separate but still accessible. See if anything is relevant to you.

We are all after different things. But we have to start pooling our information if we want to get anywhere collectively.

I only just arrived about a month ago so none of this is exactly relevant to me, but I'm glad the article I received has already been noted in the second document.

I feel very out of my depth with all of this, honestly.

I can see why it would be confusing, especially being thrown in without any context. I can try to clarify anything pressing for you, but I am far better with some areas than others.

The mention of James Henries in yours, especially in relation to his aviation addiction, is quite interesting, as his name shows up frequently enough to be significant. He was the governor of a world called Zerzura that we found ourselves in several months ago - and yet his name also appears on record on Earth here.

The aviaries comment raises the biggest flag to me.

My only idea would be to speak to the author of the article; see if there's anything they'd be willing to say off the record regarding Henries, things that didn't make it to press.

Speaking to the author might be a challenge given the date is a few centuries ago.

That is the problem with much of the information here and elsewhere - tracking down direct sources often draws a dead end. Henries is a name that has come up before but proves difficult to fully trace throughout each web he left behind.

Nothing I ate last night was unusual. I would not consider this a nightmare, but it was one of the strangest I have ever had.

The Displaced are able to share dreams with one another, walk and move between them. Sometimes alter them.

The ones from October, however, were not familiar memories to any of us.

I've had dreams about the future before, but never about someone else's past. Does Project Meadowlark mean anything to you?

Project Meadowlark has come up before. Its symbol is the bird of the same name, and the running theory is that it is very much related to the facility dreams, where the logo was seen.

Did you have the same dream as mine? Or did it mention Meadowlark specifically?

I had someone else's dream. They were tied down and sedated by some kind of drug, but still conscious. There were doctors talking about how much sedative they were using, and how it wasn't enough, and there was a bird on the wall with the name Project Meadowlark underneath it.

The doctors were getting ready for surgery, too. They were getting ready to put in the implants.

That is your power, isn't it? Jyn explained to me what happened to her arm in Zerzura. I dislike drawing attention to my own power, but I believe it was also present in this dream. I will not share your secret.

Making use of the empathy bond is worth a shot. Do you feel the pain yourself too?

[Cassian's her partner in every way. But Jyn knows discretion beyond that. Clarke trusts her implicitly.]

I only feel the pain if I direct the pain. In Zerzura, I caused it on purpose to her because of what my goal was. I felt it, but I also felt her life pouring into me. One can cancel out the experience of the other.

It's not an aspect of my power I use willingly, and I've mostly used it on people who aren't one of us.

If you think it would help here, we can do that, but if not, then we shouldn't. [Because: again, Jyn, future farm neighbors, etc.]

Do you think it's possible we could have all experienced that at one time? I'm referring to the new dream that you had, though with snippets of what we had before.

Yes.

I noticed as well that it seemed to connect with other dreams. The stabbing, for example - I witnessed a woman dying by a piece of metal I wielded, after the Swiftlet was used and I wanted to reject it. The white facility that has definitely been seen before.

I would not be surprised if they are all snippets of the same, perhaps collective, dream. Something we all went through.

It's been suggested before that some of us are caught somewhere before we're released, waiting to be set free. It doesn't track with how our disappearances work for down the line, but maybe early on? Maybe before our first release. We always show up healed in some way.

It could mean that we've been in this world for longer than we originally thought.
