[ it's been a bit that he's stewed on it, and honestly, Loki isn't very much up for the opinion's of others. this time, there's a nagging little curiosity in him, something that springs something else to life that he thought would be easy to bury when he arrived.

Which one of you hail from a universe that has gods?
Not just gods in the literal, very physical sense, but also gods in the mythical one. Please, tell me about it. Indulge my boredom.

I suppose I mean mythology in the fact that their stories helped define civilizations.

I called her the Lady in Red. She gave us gifts. We'll certainly tell stories about her.

What made her a demon and not a god?

Is that the difference?

The dichotomy of what is called "good" or "evil" also plays into it. I've never met a god, though given the multiverse theory and the fact that we're all here, it has to be a possibility in some places even if it's not here. But the idea of taking a creature that was designated as evil by an outside force and then using that knowledge to better the world seems ironic, don't you think?

I like irony.

Your willingness to be open to new experiences after our multiversal displacement is refreshing.
You can thank the monotheists for that one- at least where I come from. Good and evil is very much a sort of "heaven or hell" thing. It's not really my thing. Too black and white.
Aren't things usually infinitely more complex?

Though when someone designates someone else's nature, it's usually for a reason, even when the irony is delicious. What made this creature so evil?

Of course. I'm not going to deny my own lived experience. Of course there's always the chance that this is a complicated hallucination or a simulation, but operating under that assumptions seems counterproductive right now.

She was cast down and she offered up gifts to the ones who were cast down with her. A judgement was cast. The mythology was adopted in the aftermath. We decided to tell our stories in our way.

There's a chance, but dreams within dreams have a tendency to get overly complicated for the likes of any simulation.
I'd lean on the contrary before the confirmation.

What kind of gifts?

That's true. And there seem to be too many variables for a clean result, if it is a simulation.

Knowledge. Wisdom. Power. The traditional things, I suppose.

Is there a particular reason you're asking these questions?

There's been talk of a god inside of us, and our association with the divine.
That has broad implications depending on the audience, wouldn't you say?

Certainly. Have you found any commonalities among our mythology that might be relevant here?

Aside from vague ideas of divine nature?
No. Curious in itself, but not unsurprising.

There must other commonalities, then. Genetic seems unlikely. Something environmental, maybe?

That there those deemed gods, and that's how they're referred, is a commonality.
