I do my best.

My father always told me to try to be a symbol of hope.

I always felt I was less that and more... well, someone who just tried to give others a chance to live and to be better, do better.

Giving people a chance, and a moment of hope, and of freedom of choice, is something I aspire to do.

I'm also smart enough to know there is a lot I don't know yet. So, I am moving slowly.

I would be interested in knowing what your perspective is, as someone who has been here longer, I assume, and knows the lay of the land, so to speak.

I still feel utterly new here.

The corporations run everything. Wealth trickles up, not down, and the rich elite have their hands in everyone's dealings. They're puppeting the poor for their own amusement and gain.
I don't believe charity work is going to solve the problem when the problem is how deep certain people have their claws in those neighborhoods.
The people here have no hope. They need heroes.
Something more tangible than Morningstar, not an organization but individuals.
Individuals empower the masses.

I have to wonder if the two should not go hand in hand. Not arguing, by the way, just... wondering.

I feel like there is a piece missing, somehow. To all of this.

They do go hand in hand.
Batman cleaned up Gotham and had Bruce Wayne fund the rebuild.
Symbiosis.

That makes a lot of sense.

The Batman of my world was still working on those things.

So we need to either find ways to fund our own renovation and rebuilding processes, or find allies we can trust to handle that part.

The rebuild already exists.
Morningstar and other Displaced are working on it. Not my focus.
We need more supers.
