I have some news. Information. Whoever's been doing all this stuff to you and then dumping you in our city, they weren't so tidy this time. One of the nurses actually stopped and saluted a camera. I'll let you decide how to feel about that, but on my side, I'd call it a dick move.
Anyway, it means I caught his face enough to run recog, finally. They definitely know, though, because I've been barely managing to chase his info down before it's wiped. Which is also why I don't think we have time to waste, so I'm not waiting on preparing an established agent.
I'm sending his address through now. Let me know if you're following it. I'll watch your back. Literally.

Disclaimer being that I still have no idea how it actually works.

Even if it doesn't work, I can help the old-fashioned way.
[ By looking menacing, obviously. Not the violent old-fashioned way, which he's also unfortunately familiar with. ]

All right. Good. Hopefully he'll talk because he knows our faces. There's a chance of that, right?

Or he could be loyal to whoever hired him, or more scared of them than he is of us. But if he was a big enough idiot to salute a security camera, he probably isn't great at thinking long-term.

[ He knows her basic stance on it. And he agrees, honestly, but the stakes are too high. Maybe high enough to justify the cost, if it comes to it. ]

[Which is an unfortunate thing to put out there, but it's the way things are.]
I just don't want to start with torture. I've made that mistake before.
[She owns up to it as if it was her choice. It wasn't. It was Bellamy's that day with Lincoln, but it still resonates now.]

[ Sort of. He isn't grilling her because he's got some kind of moral high ground for her to measure up to; it's more like looking for a fail safe, reassurance that someone will keep him on track if loses focus. It's easy to keep things clean now, abstract. In the moment might get a little sloppy. ]

[Clarke has been the one to allow herself to be pushed over that edge. She let Raven take things too far with Lincoln. She tried to force the chip on Luna. She cut herself to fake a bond with Nia. She's lied and killed and irradiated countless people. Slow, suffering deaths. She's done all of it.
Starting on the right note is important. She'd rather save all her malicious tendencies for the actual people who did this to them.
Not the ones hired to take their vital signs and do a drop off. Setting up IVs on unwilling victims means they're a part of it, but they didn't start it. They aren't the Cage Wallaces or Lorelei Tsings of New Amsterdam. They aren't even the Emersons. So, that's enough for her to feel certain here.]
