For those of you I haven't introduced myself to yet, my name is Dr. Stephen Strange.

The more recently arrived may not know but thanks to the generosity of Morningstar we own two buildings in New Amsterdam: one is the garage above the current safehouse and the other is a bar under the sports stadium in the city.

The latter we intend to open soon as Red Wings, a working sports bar, with a view to ensuring financial independence and security for us as a group going forward. It's been in the works for a while, will operate under the management of myself and [Bad username or site: clarke @ griffin], and we're looking for a staff.

We'll need bar staff and security for busier periods. We're aiming to create as much opportunity as possible, so if you're interested don't hold back on letting us know. There's no application, no bar work experience necessary, we'll just need to speak with you to figure out suitability and availability. If you're interested in a security position I need to stress that power use is absolutely out of bounds, so experience will be a little more important here.

If any of the more financially established of you can volunteer time or resources while we get this off the ground, that will also be appreciated. Any of you with significant Cooltalk followings, I'd like to talk about collaborating to help us hit the ground running.

Red is the color we have. It's an homage to a friend of ours.

How would you prefer to handle the collaboration? We're setting up a presence for the bar if you'd rather wait and visit once it's open, or I have a following of my own. We could do a live pre-opening tour if a sports bar isn't your usual scene.

[ And then a link to his cooltalk, which seems to have gone into declining use of late but contains a variety of images, from pictures of his travels around the city, art exhibitions and interesting finds to product endorsement and representation of minor fashion brands just starting out - gloves and shoes and accessories. His taste seems relatively expensive.

Searching his name brings up a whole bunch of videos of his mentalist performances and various sightings of him around town, the most popular of which seem to be a couple months old but which do still crop up occasionally in Newest search. The interest seems to be split between the cult following from a younger festival crowd, some of whom first saw him live one fateful oktoberfest day and spread the word, and... moms.

The commentary on the images is very different depending on the audience it's come from. But the combination of both sets of followers and his increasingly sporadic shows have been enough to keep him in the game and worth contacting for advertising purposes. It's a string he's left to dangle with how busy he's been of late, but he can pull on it again if it's going to prove useful. ]

Perhaps we've met in professional circles and I've invited you to take a look at my latest business venture.

[ He's been following along with the conversation she's been having with Clarke, and this make it easy enough to conjure up a reason for her to be in the bar. One ready made believable collaboration coming right up, red or no red, and all it'll take is mentioning one another in a story once or twice. Then they can be as blatant with it as they like, and amplify the influencer connection at the same time. ]

[ The link doesn't go anywhere because I haven't set up a cooltalk, but pretend it links to a relatively new account with an almost suspicious amount of followers. It's a nicely done cooltalk, though, and the outfit photos are interspersed with various food photos and sightseeing. ]

Well, if it helps, we can go for similar shades within that range if the more distinct-seeming red doesn't suit you. You sound like you know more than we do.

Despite the narrowness of the name, I'd like to honor the general concept of the city. There was a fair the other month where they looked at the past and showed a timeline to now, and obviously that won't be a possibility, but there could be a vague remnant or reflection of Detroit's history.
