[There were nine of them once. Then they splintered off, fleeing to save their own lives. Ginia wonders if the others made it. How the ones left behind are still doing. She'll have to go through the network to see if anyone left a message in the past. If anyone shows up in the future, they'll know.

Though as much as she wants to see them, Ginia really isn't prepared to see any of her team again.]

I appreciate the thought, but it's okay. I imagine it's difficult keeping track of who has come and gone.

And not the type of case I'm interested in solving. There's too much randomness involved.

The more important questions. Such as who's leaving us behind to be found. What level of power do we all secretly have. How to dissuade the other Displaced from feeling as if their arrival here is some divine purpose.

That last one has proven to be the most difficult to answer, despite having so many readily available answers.

I noticed the guide mentioned people putting up shrines to the Displaced and a group thinking we're gods or similar. Are there Displaced that actually think there's truth behind that?

That depends on whether he's taken the name Loki out of irony, thinks he's Loki, or is actually Loki.

I didn't say it would only be those three options. It ultimately doesn't matter what I think about what he thinks either.

If someone was brought here and they were already a god, fine. Raises some questions about the power of whatever force is bringing us here or what a god means in larger context, but fine, they're a god.

If someone brought here believes they're now a god because a group out there is saying Displaced are gods, I have my doubts.

Back home, in my country, religion and belief are more or less tied up in tradition. What people wish or pray for is less about beseeching a certain god and more about making an offering.

It's difficult to know what it is that's here, given our lack of familiarity with the traditions of this world and the otherwise suppressed sense of tradition, religion, and spirituality.

I can admit traditions, religion, and spirituality are things I have little knowledge or experience with. A shortcoming of mine, I suppose.
