One step back.
They signed an NDA, they were housed there, they knew there was risk just by being where they were.
Someone had to know this might be something that happened, even if it was an accident.

[ either because of arrogance, because they didn't care or the risk outweighed the possibility. when they went down into Mementos, there was a risk. he knew that. whenever you were dealing with the unknown on their own turf there came some level of it. ]

I'm not so sure.

Some of what the phantoms were saying, they knew they shouldn't be doing the things they were doing. They were guilty.

But who's to say those were really them? Dreams don't perfectly reflect reality.

And if I'm reading up on NDAs right, sometimes they cover up other people's mistakes. What if they didn't know the extent of what they were getting into?

They were in the Mariana Trench. Maybe they didn't know the extent of it, but that's not really the safest place to be.

Maybe not. But there's a risk and then there's being sure you could die. I've seen what happens to people caught up in someone else's plans.

[All of the members of the Organization were members of someone else's experiment, after all.]

Someone was asking for forgiveness, I think. Someone else talked about playing gods. And another about a better world, but being lied to. I think? We tried to see if any of them had hearts that could manifest, but none of them did. But we had hearts still. Any of the Displaced did, and we used that to help some of the people who got hurt in there.
