hi @ everyone

i woke up here months ago. there bus were were on crashed and there was a firefight after. not everyone managed to get out and not everyone made it to the safehouse. i remember some of the faces of those who were on the bus with me and the others that did make it.

of those of us who were at the facility, our newest wave of arrivals? at least some were on that bus with us.

i don't know whether you've been held captive there or elsewhere for all those months, i don't know if this is true for everyone we met at the facility and i don't know what this means in the grand scheme of things, but i figure we should all know.

oh, and a lot has been happening lately, so this isn't entirely up to date, but those of us who've been around a while wrote up an arrival guide. it might answer some questions, at least.

none of us remember much of what happened before we were dropped off, but everyone but you has been deliberately dropped off in the city, so i don't know if what held for any displaced before you holds for you as well

i don't think you not remembering means it didn't happen
but i also don't know that me remembering you guys definitely means it happened

although it seems i'm not the only one

i believe you that we were there
i don't know how long i was out of it but when i woke up it didn't feel like it was a short time
and i don't know why they'd keep us there and then set monsters loose on us
but there has to be a reason
people don't just do things for nothing

keep your eyes and ears open and share anything you come across that might help us make sense of this

i've been here for six months
i have a job, co-workers who got me cake when i got back after being "ill"...

it works if we make it work
although it's probably easier for some than others, depending on your background

i don't know a lot about being a normal person
but normal means different things depending where you go
