hi @ everyone

i woke up here months ago. there bus were were on crashed and there was a firefight after. not everyone managed to get out and not everyone made it to the safehouse. i remember some of the faces of those who were on the bus with me and the others that did make it.

of those of us who were at the facility, our newest wave of arrivals? at least some were on that bus with us.

i don't know whether you've been held captive there or elsewhere for all those months, i don't know if this is true for everyone we met at the facility and i don't know what this means in the grand scheme of things, but i figure we should all know.

oh, and a lot has been happening lately, so this isn't entirely up to date, but those of us who've been around a while wrote up an arrival guide. it might answer some questions, at least.

there was a new wave of arrivals, but this one didn't get dropped off anywhere. train brought us to an abandoned scientific facility where we found them. them and a bunch of monsters, i suppose. smaller ones, like the ones that have been splitting up from the bigger monster during the attack

and i recognise some of their faces; they were on the bus with me when i first arrived

i'm not sure they remember being here for six months. the person i spoke to didn't
so i'm not saying they've definitely been prisoners for the last six months, but i am saying that it's definitely an option

that's...unsettling. you think you get a grip on this place and then something like this happens. were they all right physically? the ones you saw?

does the wall ever talk back?

[ bobbi might not compare to a wall in terms of listening ability, but she's decent, too. plus, the wall's not gonna buy him a drink, is it? ]

which is why i figure it's something we all should be aware of, even if it's just a possibility
they were all right, yeah
no worse for wear than anyone usually is when they're dropped off

no and i'm pretty glad about that. i've got enough problems than to worry about a talking wall.

makes you wonder if there are other people like them somewhere else.
but there's not enough of us to just...raid every city like that.
i'm glad everyone's okay though.

i hope there aren't, but honestly, i wouldn't be surprised if there are
we definitely don't know enough to take any kind of action

my wednesday evenings recently got freed up

i'll fill in at least for next wednesday. may not be great company but hopefully at least above average.

[ there's a story there, but not a long one. "people leave" summarises it. but there's something to be said for being not great company together. ]
