So, this isn't my first time being here, I've learned. I'm still wrapping my head around the whole thing but there's a few of you that know me and I don't know anything about you except what I've learned in the last few weeks.

You all probably know more about me than I know about you and that's weird. Nothing I can do about it but it's weird all the same. I half want to make lists of what you know about me so I can compare and contrast. I'm not going to though. You guys deserve to keep those memories of him — me — for yourselves.

Sorry that I'm not him, though.

Anyway, I'm not smart enough to really have an explanation on why this happened. I don't know if I was here and had my memories wiped and then got sent back. Pretty clear that messing with heads is pretty normal here and it wouldn't be a stretch where I come from either. But is there a way to test for that without cracking my head open?

Or I could be totally different person which just gets into science stuff that's above my pay grade. But I can't rule it out. Two of me. No one wants that, though. I don't know which explanation I really prefer either.

Have a lot of people from before recognized you? Or just one or two?

A few that I have met. There is no telling how social I was before.

Yeah. I've run into a few people who know me.
And know things that I haven't told them.
I don't know if I like it much.
No, I know I don't but it's not like I can help it.

Some optimistic person would say we should look at it like an opportunity, we've already got a foot in the door.

I'm not an optimistic person.

No, I'm really not.

Neither am I.
And I don't know if I really like people knowing things about me.
The only thing I wish they knew was what sort of power I had now.
No idea what I've got.

Do they know what power you had before?

I was apparently a lie detector. Or a truth sniffing dog. That's what I've been told at least. People couldn't lie around me.

I guess you've already tested that it's not the same thing?

Yeah. I don't have it.
So, I'm back to not knowing what I can do.

If it's something you want to learn.

I've been told acceptance is the first step. Maybe I will start there and work to learning.

Your very own twelve step program?
Maybe it'll catch on among other people.
Could be useful.

Only if someone else runs that program.
