@marcos.diaz
So, this isn't my first time being here, I've learned. I'm still wrapping my head around the whole thing but there's a few of you that know me and I don't know anything about you except what I've learned in the last few weeks.
You all probably know more about me than I know about you and that's weird. Nothing I can do about it but it's weird all the same. I half want to make lists of what you know about me so I can compare and contrast. I'm not going to though. You guys deserve to keep those memories of him — me — for yourselves.
Sorry that I'm not him, though.
Anyway, I'm not smart enough to really have an explanation on why this happened. I don't know if I was here and had my memories wiped and then got sent back. Pretty clear that messing with heads is pretty normal here and it wouldn't be a stretch where I come from either. But is there a way to test for that without cracking my head open?
Or I could be totally different person which just gets into science stuff that's above my pay grade. But I can't rule it out. Two of me. No one wants that, though. I don't know which explanation I really prefer either.
I need a drink.
[ for a few reasons. it feels like he's been barely hanging on for awhile now and this whole side trip to a futuristic society was really testing his ability to stay afloat. ]
Where's a good place to get a drink?

Most just climb the walls. Its hard to sneak past the Thor Guard and SHIELD though.

Sounds like you come from a pretty fortified place. Because of these Domain things or something else?
no subject
I think the word people used was "countries". Domains are like countries.
no subject
[ maybe? they didn't exactly teach this in school. ]

[ battleworld geography is a nightmare to learn. ]

[ but maybe he understands a little more now. ]
Never met another version of yourself?
no subject
And nope. Pretty sure he's out there but I stick to the Monarchy and its problems.

[ you couldn't really type something like that and not expect him to pick up on it, tommy. ]
no subject
Nope. Not that there's anything wrong with being one, but I'm a mutant.
no subject
So am I.
[ just because his ability was gone didn't mean the x gene had been removed. nothing wrong with humans but he couldn't think of himself as one after so long. ]
no subject
not that it wouldn't be great if you weren't, but
that brings us to a whopping three mutants in total.

[ wasn't exactly planning on telling that to the entire network but it wasn't a secret either. he didn't get any kind of purifier vibe from these people, at least.
many points in their favor. ]
No trouble here because of the mutant thing?
no subject
but full disclosure, i haven't lived the mutant discrimination experience
no subject
[ that's all he'd been living. it's no one's fault that worlds are different but he still finds himself jealous and a little grumpy about it. ]
Guess it's good to know that some places have their act together. I don't think we'll ever make that happen.
no subject
[ just... at the expense of all the humans. ]
no subject
No one's listening where I come from. Everyone's talking but no one listens. Makes progress hard.
no subject
i didn't live it. my mom, aunt and uncle did and living like that for so long does things to people
i'm sorry you have to
no subject
I probably wouldn't know what to do if things got better.
I'm so used to how it is now.
But yeah, it does things to people.

[ if only the world could just be decent to everyone in it. ]
