What's up Mystery Inc, coming at you live from Mount Everest with a very uncool update.

Basically: one of the sherpas up here isn't actually a sherpa, so me and [Bad username or site: nathan @ drake] yanked him to ask him a couple questions. This is what we got:

- Him and a couple others were hired to make sure that we got to our destinations in one piece.
- They work for a merc outfit called Global Spiral.
- Doesn't know the name of whoever hired them or anything about this person.
- He didn't know why he or the others were hired to do any of this shit.

Some of you guys got kidnapped so I figure whoever hired the Global Spiral guys was calling those shots too. Seems like they wanted us to get to our destinations safe and sound, or as safe and sound as you can be when you've been kidnapped and misled. Our guy was armed and well-trained so these people aren't to be underestimated.

[ Nate ([personal profile] nonscriptum) and Tim will both be around to answer questions, so you can leave 'em here and someone will get to them! In terms of timescale, this is during that 24-48 hour acclimation period! ]

i've made the offer before, but considering there are a few names on this network i don't recognize, i figure it doesn't hurt to make it again.

if you don't know what to do with your new ability, or you can't seem to figure out what it is, i'll help you. most people prefer one on one these days, but we can make it a group effort if there's a lot of demand. just try not to take anybody out.

and if there's something you need that you can't buy in a shop, i can try and make it for you. i don't charge. i just ask that you find me the pieces, and if it's something i haven't made before, bring me the blueprint. i can usually figure it out.

also: if we have any chemists in the house, i could use a hand figuring out a dendrotoxin from fitz's notes. i've managed to replicate the icer pistols we used back home, but i can't get the cartridges right. if we're going out in the world, it might be nice to have a non-lethal option at our disposal.
