Everything that just happened makes it obvious that we need a better way of knowing what we can all do. At this point, I don't think I need to tell you that we all need to work together. We already are. We're a coalition of the displaced. It means we can do some good for this world and for ourselves.

So, a few things. I know some people haven't wanted to share in the past. But let us help you. Okay? I get why you wouldn't want to. Trust me. I know it's hard.

1. Can you tell us what power you have? Aside from that, what skills you have, as well. We might want to organize it somewhere. Maybe that new person guide that I saw mentioned.

2. If you have a power edit that you know, have you noticed changes in it? How did it change?
Edit 2a. Have you noticed your power in relation to your personality or experiences? Does it match up?

3. If you don't know how to use your power, @daisy.johnson will help you. She has experience with this stuff.

4. Let @markus.manfred know what kind of safehouse you want. We don't need to discuss here. He's got it all covered.

I'd be grateful for anything, even books. When I arrived here, like many others, I am sure, I was very frightened and I had a few moments of panic but nothing out of the ordinary happened. I didn't make anything happen. Aside from the pain of trying to find my wolf, neither fear nor sorrow seem to do anything beyond feeling terrible, but I can't say for sure.

I ...don't want to rule it out only to end up hurting people. Is there a safe way to test it?

I'll try the other as well. I'm not familiar with guided meditation, though I do know the words. Do I need to choose a guide for it?

[ new amsterdam's current media market lends itself mostly to vr technologies — multi-sensory experiences where a digital zen master guides you to peace and harmony amidst beautiful scenery. while these are certainly relaxing, daisy doesn't find them very helpful (or very easy to fileshare, given the drm restrictions on digital media purchases).

instead, she relies on old-fashioned stand-bys: audiobooks, digital pamphlets, and ebook versions of traditional texts. it's these that she sends to sansa's inbox. among them is a copy of unlocking your inner buddha, very much considered an outdated relic by the people of new amsterdam; many of the digital pages feature annotations and dog-eared notes from daisy's sessions. ]

without knowing what your abilities are, i can't guarantee safety, but the caves are a good place to test it.
getting dropped off is pretty high up there on the freak out meter, so if you didn't feel anything beyond the post-drug hangover, i don't know that stress will do the trick for you.

we've started to theorize that abilities may have some reflection of our inner selves (which i know sounds a little hokey)
when you meditate, maybe think about your life before you got here, see if that sparks anything?

[It's just as well as Sansa's experience with digital reading materials, even recordings, although limited, at least it exists. Which makes it a little (and only a little) less overwhelming. So she does that thing she'd learned to do in Clock, and again in Westeros when she'd had to pretend all the time, even in her heart - she makes a joke:]

Hopefully no literal sparks. 🔥

[But that does set her thinking long and hard on this, so after a moment she responds again.]

That might take a lot of thinking. A lot of sorting out. But I do want to know.

It's true that everyone has a kind of power? No outliers that are just ordinary?

you can keep a glass of water nearby just in case

[ daisy's a big fan of irreverent humor. you done good, sansa. ]

as far as i know, everyone who got a fun haircut and a glowcube in their chest has some kind of ability
some people haven't figured theirs out yet, but everything else matches up

[ basically, it's okay to not have everything figured out yet ]

Not a terrible idea at all, whether I work up a thirst or a small blaze I'll be equally prepared.

[Yay!]

My chest has only glowed when holding someone's hand or arm, and again when I tried to do something else. Both times hurt, but the second time it was a more tangible pain. A literal burning in my chest rather than the figurative one of anguish.

I suppose it's a fair assumption that if I were powerless I wouldn't glow at all.
