Hey. There's a lot of old information on this, and that's great. Really. But it's also a l o t for newcomers to try and sift through. There was some talk of a guide, which would be awesome? Even if it's just a basic rundown of world stuff that isn't the wiki-ish pages of the internet that just assume we know crap, it'd be helpful.

Back home, I was on a team called the Young Avengers. We went on a multiverse jumping spree for several months, so this isn't my first rodeo. It is the first place I've been to where we woke up with our abilities locked away and given new ones. Super weird btw, I'm not fond of it. As someone who already went through the whole "traumatic event waking up your mutant powers" thing, I'm not up for round two. But it means I've got some history with jumping around to different places.

I've got a place outside the safe house already, but it's not really a space meant for more than one or MAYBE two people, and we've got three. So if anyone has ideas for an easy job to get into for new arrivals, let me know? Disclaimer: I've never had an actual job before. And I didn't have much of an idea of what to set up an ID with since, I really don't have any experience doing workforce things.

America never mentioned the multiverse and - who the hell is Loki? Lady Loki?

I'm pretty sure Loki just goes as whatever gender Loki feels like on any given day. I mean, Loki's gone around as a girl before, but I also know Loki's reincarnated--twice? Recently. So I don't really know where he stands right now when it comes to genderfluidity--but, chaos god.

( with a loose lift of his shoulders, arms still wrapped tight over his chest. )

Loki was a kid, after dying and coming back. ( skipping over the horrible bits-- ) I wished him back to full-size. That's the one we have here.

Okay. You know what, let's back this up to the beginning. There is a multiverse, and instances of different people exist across it - but it's not a realm you can physically walk to. You and I were reincarnated to different people, somehow, and we didn't grow up together but met when we were older. You're going to rewrite all the laws of magic and be all-powerful, Doom isn't a God and Latverio- Latveria? Is just a place on a map, not a whole planet. Loki is genderfluid, go Loki, and isn't the same Loki from Arcadia.

[ He's talking pretty fast by the end of it, not because he's flustered but because accelerated perception is a bitch and a half and no part of him is working fast enough to deal with the speed his mind usually works. ]

Am I following this correctly?

Yeah, that sounds right.

( he realizes this is a lot but it's--a lot on both ends. they can both deal with it. )

The multiverse is complex. It's not just--places you can walk through. It's like--taking every possible what if moment and splitting it into different universes. Like, what if Vision and the Scarlet Witch never broke up? There's a universe for that. What if we never died? There's--obviously another universe for that. What if the Avengers never broke up, or what if Loki didn't cause Ragnarok? Probably different universes for that, too. So it's like--in the grand scheme of everything, every possible what if probably has it's own universe.

That sounds like the Domains. Multiple instances of people and places with different lives and circumstances.

[ It's not exactly like that, but he knows there are multiple instances of people. You might be you, but there's someone who has your name and your face and is doing something else somewhere else. That is, among several other reasons mostly revolving around territory disputes and death, why you need Baron permission to leave. ]

Except they're not physically accessible places. More like, you have to be able to punch through reality or magic your way to somewhere else.

( so. definitely not the thing tommy is thinking of even if tommy's place sounds just like a mix of universes shoved together. )

So Latverion exists in a place where you can do that, and your world is separate. I got it.

I mean--the multiverse is like, all universes?

( this is so hard. ) Like all universes are connected. Even this one, to the ones we came from. That's probably how we got here?

[ He does, but it's - weird? Weird. They're like, Domains but existing in the same space and sure, whatever. ]

So--how do you want to do this? The finding out our new hidden secondary powers thing.

Well, we've got the advantage here because we've already done this before.

[ His isn't speed, so he's not sure how to tap into it. But Billy had magic before. ]

We could just spar and see what happens, or we could try to focus and see if we can make it happen like we did the first time. [ he, for the record, bowled through a wall.

and then blew up the dining room some years later when he was testing his limits. ]

I'm not great at fighting, ( actually he's really really bad at anything to do with fists but he does try his best. )

We can start with meditating. Work our way up from there.
