Hey. There's a lot of old information on this, and that's great. Really. But it's also a l o t for newcomers to try and sift through. There was some talk of a guide, which would be awesome? Even if it's just a basic rundown of world stuff that isn't the wiki-ish pages of the internet that just assume we know crap, it'd be helpful.
Back home, I was on a team called the Young Avengers. We went on a multiverse jumping spree for several months, so this isn't my first rodeo. It is the first place I've been to where we woke up with our abilities locked away and given new ones. Super weird btw, I'm not fond of it. As someone who already went through the whole "traumatic event waking up your mutant powers" thing, I'm not up for round two. But it means I've got some history with jumping around to different places.
I've got a place outside the safe house already, but it's not really a space meant for more than one or MAYBE two people, and we've got three. So if anyone has ideas for an easy job to get into for new arrivals, let me know? Disclaimer: I've never had an actual job before. And I didn't have much of an idea of what to set up an ID with since, I really don't have any experience doing workforce things.

It's not like I'm that heavy, you know.
My tissue density is 3x that of a human aboutish. I've never cared to measure precisely.
I'm not of the folk, I'm one of the Aesir.

never heard of "aesir" before

I figured if you didn't recognize "Loki" that you wouldn't recognize "Aesir," either.

I'm absolutely positively not from the middle realms, what you would call Earth.
For once, I'd come out with it, but generally people don't believe me.
It's not very liberating.

ill take your word for it
anyway, you seem human enough to me

Sometimes referred to as Son of Secrets, Maker of Mischief, the Trickster of Asgard, and a million other titles.
It's really complicated but also amazing? The Aesir, I mean. They're gods and also legends and myths and everything in between. And then we've also got Greek gods around and so many others but the Aesir are especially cool?
Re, worlds: Norse religion (the origin of a lot of the Aesir legends) had nine realms. Asgard (where Loki grew up, home of the Aesir), Alfheim (home of the light elves), Jotunheim (home to the giants), Midgard (where humans are from, thus, our realm / "middle realms"), Muspelheim (realm of eternal fire), Nidavellir (realm of dwarves, where Mjolnir was formed), Niflheim (realm of ice and mist, beneath the third root of Yggdrasil), Svartalfheim (home to the dark elves), and Vanaheim (home to the Vanir).
So as someone not from Midgard, Loki's definitely not human. But in comparison to like, elves or dwarves of the Old Norse religion, Aesir are pretty close appearance-wise.
And then the Greek gods have a whole other set of myths and legends and worldstuff and Gaea and Chthon and so many others it'd take all day to go through them.
