Hey. There's a lot of old information on this, and that's great. Really. But it's also a l o t for newcomers to try and sift through. There was some talk of a guide, which would be awesome? Even if it's just a basic rundown of world stuff that isn't the wiki-ish pages of the internet that just assume we know crap, it'd be helpful.
Back home, I was on a team called the Young Avengers. We went on a multiverse jumping spree for several months, so this isn't my first rodeo. It is the first place I've been to where we woke up with our abilities locked away and given new ones. Super weird btw, I'm not fond of it. As someone who already went through the whole "traumatic event waking up your mutant powers" thing, I'm not up for round two. But it means I've got some history with jumping around to different places.
I've got a place outside the safe house already, but it's not really a space meant for more than one or MAYBE two people, and we've got three. So if anyone has ideas for an easy job to get into for new arrivals, let me know? Disclaimer: I've never had an actual job before. And I didn't have much of an idea of what to set up an ID with since, I really don't have any experience doing workforce things.

More meant the job, but thanks! I'm not so worried about adjusting as I am getting back home.
And if you could look into the one City Hall uses, I'd really appreciate it. What do you do there?

Secretarial duties for the most part. Positively thrilling, I know. As for the courier service, give me two shakes.
[ It's easy enough to access office records and look it up. She 'signs' for those deliveries most days, after all. Once she locates the information, she sends over something of a digital business card. ]
There we are.

As we say in the secretarial pool: it's my pleasure. Can I be of any further assistance?

Thanks, Ms Carter.

Although I do have a question of my own, if you don't mind. The rest of your post has piqued my curiosity — where are you from?
[ A place that makes their current circumstances not entirely surprising interests her, particularly when she's aware it parallels her own to some extent. ]

I never asked for specifics. It's just an ability she has.

The how here is what gets me.

Here, I can feel it and reach for it but it just hurts and nothing happens.

A LOT.
Like, enough that I vomited from it. And it glowed bright blue.
So if we're looking for something to look into, probably start there.

Probably as much as anyone else does.
