Hey. There's a lot of old information on this, and that's great. Really. But it's also a l o t for newcomers to try and sift through. There was some talk of a guide, which would be awesome? Even if it's just a basic rundown of world stuff that isn't the wiki-ish pages of the internet that just assume we know crap, it'd be helpful.
Back home, I was on a team called the Young Avengers. We went on a multiverse jumping spree for several months, so this isn't my first rodeo. It is the first place I've been to where we woke up with our abilities locked away and given new ones. Super weird btw, I'm not fond of it. As someone who already went through the whole "traumatic event waking up your mutant powers" thing, I'm not up for round two. But it means I've got some history with jumping around to different places.
I've got a place outside the safe house already, but it's not really a space meant for more than one or MAYBE two people, and we've got three. So if anyone has ideas for an easy job to get into for new arrivals, let me know? Disclaimer: I've never had an actual job before. And I didn't have much of an idea of what to set up an ID with since, I really don't have any experience doing workforce things.

Developing workforce skills wasn't high on my list of priorities.
I was in high school and then other things came up.

You want advice or do you want to waste the time of myself and everyone else here? We have more important things to do than to babysit someone who can't even be assed to take this situation seriously.

And anyway, high school might have started as a place for developing workforce skills, but have you seen schools in the 21st century? They teach history so we won't repeat it, math that we're rarely going to use in day-to-day life, enough science to know how to disinfect worms and jellyfish and on a a good day when the teacher gets bored enough, watch Bill Nye and write a paper on Earth's rotational patterns. Maybe pick up a second language, funding dependent. And spend hours stressing over essays for grades that'll barely matter because no one checks high school records of someone who gets a degree under their belt, and no job willing to higher someone just out of high school will care, either.
I was a witch, now I'm not. My skill set is a lot more limited than I'm used to. But I definitely don't need some irascible, faceless jerk calling me inept after a seven word response.

I asked you a question and you responded like a child. So either you're truly incapable, or you truly don't grasp the situation you've found yourself in.

Is this one of yours?

And I never said the public school system was at fault for anything. You said it taught basic workforce skills, I corrected your assumption.
If this is all you have to offer, we're finished here.

I already asked you what I need to know to help. It's your own damn fault you chose to be an asinine instead.

I don't need your help.

Sort it out yourself. Just don't make Bishop's life any harder than it already is.

There are people who need to be educated on how the hell to blend into and adapt to an unfamiliar environment. All it takes is one to blow our cover. It's not my fault if you take issue with that statement.

You have a habit of that.

I've had it up to here with your sanctimonious lectures and assumptions about me.
